Boys and girls, I miss fishing on my home town lake! I don't mind you guys catching a few of those small crappie but leave the slabs for me. Awesome video. Thanks for posting it.

Love wade fishing ! But in that tight stuff I use a 5ft. rod. Way easier to maneuver. Nice going!

Great video I am from Duckhill Ms and when I was back at home I fished here all the time.Great fishing and Grenada lake has the biggest crappie worldwide. If you don't believe me take a trip there and see for yourself.

Back in 1974 I would camp out down below the spillway and catch plenty of shad with a dip net and I would catch me some nice channel catfish everyday for my daddy to cook when he came back from working at the carnival in town.

Anyone in Grenada know a lady named Effie who used to fish down at the spill way and camp there?

Heard that Grenada lake is where the slab of slabs is at. Uncommon to get one under buck fifty.

Where the hell were all the Mississippi 10ft plus gators?? That would've made for a even better video....

When you're up in the trees, do you still catch/get harassed by the white bass?
@adamsmith85335 жыл бұрын
The most fish are caught by the ones willing to put the work in ! This definitely applies to this vid.

Dipping the reel in the muddy water don’t hurt it?
@derrickmalone31295 жыл бұрын
Laoboy 1 just buy the cheapest fly fishing reel you can find and put nothing but 12 lb test backing and 4 lb test to fish with and shake the water out of it and oil it a little bit when you get home.

Mustang Mandy all you gotta do is ride down to the boat ramp when the water is up and you’ll see folks off the side of the road in the trees
