I really like the fact that Wei Wuxian has purple clothes as a disciple and that Mo Xuanyu's body really looks different from Wei's original body. These details were missing in donghua adaptation, so I appreciate your choices very much! And I really enjoy your drawing style of course :)

I watched the donghua first before jumping on the novel and that was exactly the first question I raised on my mind. "Why was Wuxian's robe red even though he's under Yangjiang sect? And why does he look exactly like Mo Xuanyu." But then, I realized it's probably just to emphasize the character and that they didn't bother to change Mo Xuanyu's appearance because he actually didn't matter, he only came to existence so WuXian can occupy a body.

WWX never wears the purple clothes because his status was not recognize by the madam ( JC's mom). He was the son of JC's father's follower or something like slave as mentioned in the novel. The novels has more details.

I don’t know if I’m right, but Wei Wuxian’s original body looked older and more refined. His pained expressions seemed more grave, too. Then Mo Xuan Yu looks like ‘younger’ per se, or more lively. Though I say, I’m probably not right. Oh well.

I know this song (Strength) from the ending of episode 00 of X/1999, wich was a prelude for the anime, wich i already loved so much back in 2003. And now that i have recently watched MDZ TV séries and the donghua repectively in 2019, you bring even more meaning to me about them both stories. funny thing, is that after all, i already added MDZ in a cathegory of (Could be made by Clamp). I watch it everyday and after watching it, I cried for 1 hour. I really like your drawings. WeiYing in purple clothes is greater. LanZhan is awesome. And I really like that MoXuanYu doesn't look like WeiYing. They are different, especially for the body. 😍😍😍
