Here we add some more strength to the underlying wing structure to hopefully stop any warping/twisting and then we skin the wings. Moving right along now!

I thought of something similiar for learing edges. On constant airfoils cut an arc out of the leading edge that matches the curve as close as possible. Then use a hardwood dowel or rod to form the back8ng surface for the skin. Of course there is always fill with high density foam and sand to shape.

I like the idea of foam. I've seen it used especially on ship hulls but I may try that on my next WWII rounded machine. So far, this looks better than most of my stuff. I guess we'll see when I put primer on it! Thanks for the interactions...-Dan

Yes they do! I tried embossing one side and ruined the skin so I copied it and printed it off on my own printer/paper. I'm not worried as I'm going to repaint the whole air frame anyway! So I think I'm ok. Thanks for looking, viewing and commenting. Much appreciated. -Dan
