Billy Paul's Me and Mrs Jones performed by Melissa Etheridge. This song was played during the 3rd "Tuesday Covers show" in the (then) new Etheridge garage. I remember watching her build this song and being fascinated by how she layered those voices, such an intense and beautiful effect. I'm 99.9% certain this was the first time during a 'concert from home'/ETV concert' that she started layering her vocals to have them as backing vocals. And since then, Melissa Etheridge created some stunning covers with backing vocals this way. Superb musician and singer, I will never stop enjoying her play (with) music!
