AGAs make sense in the UK or Scandinavia where it is typically much cooler, but in warmer climates, it really doesn't make any sense. Considering that a conventional stove uses only 2.6% of the energy of a traditional AGA and today's rising energy costs, they make even less sense. I'd love to cook with one at least once and see what the fuss is about, but I don't think I'd want one in my house when it's 40 degrees Centigrade outside.

Dont bother, bought a house with one installed and its proving a c*nt to get removed. Not even worth the ~£50 scrap iron value in my honest opinion.
