THIS HURTS AFTER THE NEW CHAPTER. SPOILERSSSSS FOR CHAPT 3B DONT KEEP READING So basically, they were friends and worked on stuff 2gether, however, midori always did stuff that shin didnt like such as put loads of pics of him around when he didnt like photos etc. And he got attached to midori even tho he knew he wasnt a gud person. Then he just left one day, and shin wasnt sure wether to be relieved or sad. He kept his scarf and continued using computers. After a while he just kept wearing it. Edit again aha: he really liked watching shin suffer and yea but i dont think we know the whole backstory yet since shin seems pretty traumatised by him but everything doesnt seem to be at a traumatising level but idk just a guess aha

oh I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, not entirely sure whether their relationship was romantic or not but I'm definitely sure it was a manipulative one. Where Midori took advantage of Sou's naiveness and kinda made him very unstable in the process especially after his disappearance

@@shakers7721 Yeah, I think it's also really clear from the way AI Sou acts, especially when Midori shows up, his entire demeanor changes. I'm super interested to see how Midori is related to all the other cast members, as he seems to have had somewhat of a big impact on their lives though they can't remember it clearly. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS YET THE NEXT PATCH MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELEASED LATER THIS MONTH OR THE NEXT ONE T^T!!

Imo i think he also adopted that manipulative behavior due to his past friendship with Midori. Often abuse victims adopt similar traits to thier abuser mainly for survival inside and out the relationship. Shin tsukimi was probably never like this and due to thier abuse and his low survival rate in the killing games he adopted Midori's name and manipulative behavior as a means of survival. He doesnt really actively enjoy it but he kinda has to do it
