I feel like I have been in the fandom soo long what I literally watched Telephones character evolve

People outside the fandom ask me, what it is about. They ask me, why do you dress up as an animal and waste your time at these conventions. My response is one simple word…. L O V E. Love of the hobby Love of the characters we portray Love of the positive energy if generates Love getting together with people you see only once a year Love putting all the hate in the world behind you, for a few short days Love hugs!!! If you were to measure the amount of positive energy in that room it would be off the charts. Can you picture how much better the human race would be, if we all greeted each other like we see in this video? Things like hate, and violence would all be a thing of the past. The angel dragons have captured the true meaning of what this fandom is all about. I applauded them and wish their group long life. My character might be a shark, but he is kind and loving deep down inside. He wants to be fearsome and act the part, but deep down inside he is only a cuddle fish (lol). Maybe I need to attach Angel Dragon wings to sharky !!! (lol)

Sharky Fish I mean to a fur it makes sense but maybe try a different word other than LOVE to describe it to non furs because of the sexualized part of the fandom.

This is what i think a furry is and does. They help people. This year was my first anthrocon and i almost bursted out in tears because i got to go to the one place i really wanted to go, I had a really bad year this year and Anthrocon brightened my day. I got to see my heros and i got to meet great people, and though people that are in my life might not approve of it or don't like the fandom at all don't think that it's "unhealthy" or that it does anything to brighten my life. Thank you Furries and Uncle Kage and everyone who put up Anthrocon and continues to put up with everything. Thank to you, hundreds of people are happy and will continue to come back. *totally not crying while writing this*

As I was watching, my first thought was "okay, this isn't Ino. She's just a bit too animated." And then you put up the dialog at the end. The DAD are an anchor to some. Especially Telephone. Most of us know the story behind Telephone's creation. It's not hard to learn it from KZbin. But what makes Telephone special is that she just possibly represents a version of ourselves that we want to believe in. I don't think Ino was aiming to create a hero, much less a legend. But because she now symbolizes a greater good, Telephone now represents what being human can achieve just by being caring and honest with ourselves.

i believe only close friends get to wear it. i'm like that with my fursuits only my sister and two close friends are allowed to wear them. the last time i allowed a mother to let her kids try on mayhem she got damaged and thinking on it now i should have had her pay for it.

Since the last comment was a long time. I'm not sure that someone will read my comment though. This is a unique experience and incredible event - to stay in the "skin" of another person. Feel what that person is feeling. It's like a double-edged sword. On the one hand you're hurt, you're deceiving those who take you for another. On the other hand, you are imbued with those people that interact with you and gave all the emotions, and to the one who used to get it all. Only through such an experience people will begin to fully understand each other, leave hatred and will share their emotions knowing that they will understand. I am very happy for you, you have experienced all the pressure and partly understand what it is - to be Telephone. Good luck to you and how BOTB usually says - Smile. Always.
