That is one outstanding dragon you got! Beautiful work! Did you pick the colors for the dragon? The purple on the belly scales looks really good. I’m in the process of getting a Japanese style dragon (covering up an old dragon). When I get to the colors it’s going to have to be dark. Trying to decide on what colors.
@erikminamihata5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Pred. I appreciate that! Actually, Jiro picked all the colors. I had a choice between purple or red. Definitely check out Horitoshi 1's work. You might dig it for ideas.

Your story sounds a lot like what I’m thinking now. I want a Japanese style 3/4th sleeve tattoo of Susanoo since I use the name so often online. I’ve been doing so much research and the more I search the scarier the idea becomes but I also want it more.

Are you a half cast? It's great getting in touch with your Japanese heritage and honouring your grandparents like that! I have two full sleeves of a phoenix which is my mums name and a dragon on the other which is her birth year, she passed away and before she died we discussed my tattoos and it was a gift from her which is also my way of honouring her. I feel the same as you that the sleeves should also go with a back peice, I plan to get th3 monkey King which is my birth year and a potriat of my mother on my chest. I also have a dragon on my chest and plan to complete those as well. When 8m all done I plan on a tiger leg sleeve and a koi leg sleeve which will tell my story which is to long to explain here lol. I hope to see more videos from you and tattoo journey.

Is this work done by Tebori or Machine?
@erikminamihata4 жыл бұрын
Hey Avel. Both. 99% machine. Only the whites of the eyes were done by Tebori. For some reason my body has a hard time holding that color.
@axelbohmer25424 жыл бұрын
Erik thanks for the info! I also want to have a similar tattoo like you. Japanese Style. I want 2 full sleeves with chest plates and a back tattoo without background. I want the charakter „Oniwakamaru fighting the giant carp“ as the central image on my back. Always wondered if it is better to do it by tebori or machine. If machine also holds up, I would prefer machine!
