Some stuff i forgot to mention in the video: - Applying the enchantments costs magicka to balance the advantage of double overlayed enchantments and the additional effects these provide. - The damage and cost of all effects shown here scale by destruction skill and are affected by destruction perks. - It works on bound weapons too. - The lightning strikes from the "sky" work indoors as well, it's coded in a way that will make them come from the roof instead. - The frost enchant has 1 additional effect beyond the cracking/brittle thing. It also reduces frost resistance of struck enemies to 0 for 20s, allowing you to actually use frost spells in Skyrim without feeling nerfed against all the most common enemy types (draugr, dwemer machines, undead, nords, etc.). - The effects on enemies (ignite, frost resist down, lightning strike) are mutually exclusive. Applying one will dispel any others on that enemy. So you won't be rewarded for cycling enchants constantly to stack as many effects as possible. Instead the idea is to pick the most fitting enchant for the current situation. You can have different effects rolling on different enemies though.

Do chaos enchantments work as well? It’s the combo enchant that’s does all 3 of the elements either all at once or one at a time depending on your rng for the strike Edit: realized this would be hard to do unless someone made a chaos spell, but follow up question would this mod work with the creation club elemental spells? I think the ones in that mod are a mix of all three elements all at once

I really like this. I've messed with all the "spellsword" mods. So far my top 3 are Spellsword (of course lol), the Flamebringer (more dedicated towards a complete character overhaul but still really fun... and looks great too!), and Spellsiphon (kind of cheating with this one, but since it has weapon imbuing, I include it). This one seems to be like a way more focused version of Spellsword. I'm glad I discovered you man!

It would be funny if you made it so that mage light makes the sword glow dumbly bright and makes you alert enemies nearby. As for healing you could just make it so it heals you via the handle and damages the undead better. On a side note 😅 what about invisibility?... 🥺✨😈 Anyway I think this is a pretty freaking cool mod and you should definitely keep at it... Maybe make illusion not a terrible spell tree like in DnD. Honestly there are so many ways make illusion spells good like maybe summon a fake dragon, place a fake wall, or maybe an illusion of a lady to distract guards... Sorry just ranting away at this point. 👉👈

Healing is already released and you're quite close with your idea here :) You can check the mod page for the mechanics and there's a demo video of the visuals here on the channel. A general "Arcane" conduction that affects illusion (and everything else currently without its own condiction) is now out as well. Oh, and the next version will add light emissions to conductions. Once i get to releasing that. Currently taking a little break :)

Amazing stuff as always. I wonder if it's possible to make it so it triggers the effect by using both mouse click power attack similar to dual dagger's power attack. On non VR edition ofc.

Thanks! I'm unsure. I'm fairly sure that I'll need to make an SKSE dll (which i have yet to learn how to do) in order to input block the left and right click and delay them a bit to determine if you pressed both close together. That would also cause a bit of input lag ofc. And for those that want to attack and cast at the same time, there would be some accidental activation risk. I could skip the input block which would mean that you would start swinging and casting while you enchant like this, but that could probably be a bit impractical. The other advantage of just doing button press detection is that it will require SKSE but not a dll. That kind of SKSE usage i do have the knowledge for. It will mean i need to do some splitting between PC and XBox versions though which is a bit cumbersome... But maybe it wont be too bad.

Edit: nevermind, I just moved it up in my load order and disabled and re enabled it and it works now I'm trying to use it on Xbox, but whenever I click "conduit power: not learned" to learn it I just get kicked out of the little menu and nothing happens (the menu doesn't change to say it's learned either). Do you know how I can fix it? Or is there a requirement to learn it that I missed?

I downloaded the mod for Xbox but can't for the life on me get it to spawn in vendors. Been to the college and all. Uninstalled it and reinstalled a few times. Changed around in load order. Is there something I'm missing to get the book to spawn in the game

First of all, AMAZING mod! I just started playing skyrim vr and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite abilities as my Mad Mage character Second, if youre ever looking to work on this mod in the future, how possible would it be to change the activation action in VR? Instead of applying the spell whenever you grab the weapon, I was thinking something like you grab the weapon and then slide the spell hand down the blade/handle a little bit to apply the effect? It would technically be an extra step in the activation process, but I think it would feel cool

Thanks, that's great to hear! I unfortunately cant really modify the physical interaction at all. I'm only piggybacking off HIGGS grab mechanic so it would be Atom (flyingparticle) that would have to add a "sliding" possibility along with adding events when that happens. Think there's quite a few things higher on his prio list though. What you can do right now is bind the Conduct Power to a swipe left/right gesture via VRIK and then swipe your hand across your weapon to enchant it. This will ofc require you to "roleplay" the act of syncing your weapon and spell hands but it's all i can recommend atm.

Reading the description in Nexus, Am I right in thinking that all your mods will work together? This will make Spellsiphon incredible. The fact that it will also work with weapon throw vr is also crazy. I am looking forward to using this with throwing axes when you have that update. until then swords will do nicely. Your mods are so badass it makes VR a different game. Thank you.

Missed this comment earlier! But yes, all my mods are compatible and all the Conduit effects can be triggered with Spellsiphon spells :) Also, axes, maces and daggers are already supported. I integrated them between this video and the official release. Didnt think I'd have the time when i mentioned it here but turns out i did.

Glad to hear it :) Do you mean you're "sheathing" when trying to grip the weapon? In that case I'd recommend you look into some alternate controller bindings. Gonna shamelessly plug my own "Vanilla Hotkeys for Oculus Touch" here :) You dont even need to use the hotkey part of it, can just use all the freed up keys for other stuff like vrik gestures, spell wheel, etc. The menu textures are from Dear Diary VR and the controller textures are Rallys work here: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16541 Enjoy :)

Skyrim VR requires quite a lot of tweaks to run well. Not just mods but ini tweaks and stuff like open composite if you have a oculus/meta headset. I'd recommend you look into the FUS wabbajack auto-installer to just one-click-fix everything for you. Save yourself the headache of figuring all this shit out

@@arctalmods9546 amazing. My goal is to make an undead hybrid spell sword character using sacrosanct, growl, and undeath, along with tainted blood of the Dragonborn. My last question I saw it said modded spells will work as long as they are elemental, and from another reply you sent me that’s perfect I downloaded a mod called singularity, it’s an endgame spell mostly fire with some lightning mixed in that effectively just creates a tear in space time and annihilates anything in a certain radius with fire and lightning. Just cool for rp to imbue that into my blade I suppose

@@sparkthefloofyprotogen3556 enjoy it! There's also a unique conduction for Restoration spells now. And a generalized "Arcane" conduction that will work on literally any spell out there. Details on what these do are on the mod page or in game under Active Effects after you apply them.
