perhaps you could invent your own way of note skipping somehow Edit: in my ays engine, a lot of spam notes have the same note time as others around it, so I check if the previous note has the same time as the current note (or is within a small timeframe like if the note time is within 0.01 seconds after the previous note) and if it’s true, skip that note/don’t process it but only add it to the combo or nps, but that could screw up duets

@@ollzgames the way i added it: first, for the note that’s set to be spawned, check if the current song position is greater than the note’s strum time. if it is, hit the note as if Show Notes was turned off. Otherwise, if Show Notes is turned on, spawn the note if the song position is less than (1700 / Scroll Speed) ms from the note’s strum time.
