High recharge speed builds are also a lot of fun. Widow + Piranha= complete destruction.

High recharge speed? As in a "high" number of seconds your waiting? Because that weapon combo is heavier than the one in this video.

Yeah. I'm talking about an Incinerate-less build, though. Loads of fun, similar to how some people play a Warpless Valkyrie.

Argoniin That's what this build was originally, Incinerate just makes it stronger. However as obviously effective as powerful weapon builds are, that is all they are. The kit disappears and just becomes a vessel for the weapons it's carrying. Ultimately it doesn't matter that your using the Krogan Sentinel. You can take those two weapons, slap on anyone else, and do the exact same thing. There's a lot more on offer in the game. I think it's important to explore the strengths and abilities of each kit to truly unlock the potential of each gun (if your interested at all in getting what you paid for). Lift Grenades are obvious area of effect damage, but see what else they can do with a specfic set of guns. If your goal is just to dish out a lot of weapon damage, there are far better characters than the Krogan Sentinel to do it with.

I do the opposite. Krogan sentinel as melee build and soldier as power build. Tech armour has a passive melee boost at lvl 5, giving more melee damage than the soldier, unless you turn fortification on and off (which I am too lazy do bother doing). I also find the soldier to be better at making fire explosions, with inferno grenade + carnage, since lift grenades don't detonate through protection.

Skytstrax Get off your hump, turning Fortification off and on nets you an additional 30% melee bonus for 20 seconds at level 3! Do that at the start of every wave or while you track down your next target and you'll run circles around the a melee Sentinel.

You're probably right. I still think the soldier is a better caster, but i guess that only strenghens your point that the soldier is better at everything. So the question seems to be in which case the sentinel is the least inferior to the soldier.

I find that I can't seem to use the Venom Shotgun effectively, so that's out for me. The Cerberus Harrier is great, but my simple boss-killing strategy for the Krogan Sentinel (one of my favorite characters) is alternating between Incinerate and the Piranha Shotgun.

Wait, isn't Tech Armor a detonator? If so, can't you use Incinerate, prime the combo, then just run next to him and detonate the Armor?

I'm honestly not impressed by lift grenades. Every time I throw them out, they just tickle things.

You got to get the power bonuses behind them, if you do they will make short work of most enemies. They should have been able to ragdoll shielded enemies though, I mean Lash can. That would've given them some real potential.

***** I feel that the things that get wrecked by it are things I can just shoot or melee. I like incinerate because of all the FUCKIN' armored enemies (all guns require armor piercing it seems. thanks bioware).

***** Armour-piercing or armour weakening, lots of the powers can do that for you; but Lift Grenades pretty much bring every trooper-sized enemy within a 6.5m radius, down to a single hit. To get the best out of area of effect damage, you need to hit multiple enemies.

You were kinda going in circles when talking about weapon choices. Its not that bad, just a bit of constructive criticism to polish this video in teh future should you choose to do so. Glad to see you are still playing ME3! My friends have moved on to other games, but I will occasionally still hop in and shoot up some cerberus when the nostalgia is at is thickest.

i have a question: how does phasic ammo work on projectile weapons? didnt manage to find relevant info on this.

I explain what Phasic Rounds do in the Quarian Infiltrator and Executioner Pistol videos. They provide a weapon damage bonus of up to 15%, and in the case of Barriers or Shields the bonus is multiplied by 10 to enable players to bypass shield gate (on a projectile that's just massive damage). The only ammo that behaves differently on projectile weapons is Armour-Piercing and Drill, as their piercing effect gets nullified.

i think, compared to me3, warframe's gameplay seems so less sophisticated. sometimes combat is a big mess; cant see shit.however it has potential. bwnci?

The two things that keep me from getting into it is the f2p model that encourages paying a lot or insanely long grinds, as well as the lore which just can't compare to the science fiction world that bioware built in the ME series.
