Is it normal to have a big rubber patch on the landing strip ? I’ve seen videos where the landing strip is cleaned from those debris.

It is normal in Lebanon, and unfortunately they're not fixing them!

@@FlyWithTarek it s dangerous and should be cleaned as the landing security can be jeopardized since the tires have less friction on rubber than actual asphalt. What a mess, they always neglect maintenance in Lebanon. This can lead to incidents.

is it normal that the ADS B system at beirut airport isn’t working properly, cuz it’s impossible to be able to track aircraft that are lower than 20000 up until they are on ground at BEY or above 20000-22000 feet, and do you have any information about when or if the system will be eventually fixed, thx in advance

Hello, this problem is mainly due to military activities in Cyprus. Unfortunately, I have no idea about the full fixation of the system!
