My recent trip to Scandinavia gave me inspiration for a new drink. Part mulled wine, part honey wine. This Gløgg inspired mead brings warming spice flavors and has a kick at 9.7%.

GLØGG MEAD RECIPE 1.25 Gal (4.7L)
64 oz (1.9L) Grape Juice (I would add more, and use less water)
32 oz (.95L) Honey
~1 gal (3.8L) Water
Mulling Spices (to your taste)
1 cup Silvered Almonds
1/2 Raisins
Lalvin D47 Yeast
Fermaid O Yeast Nutrient
