Dude, your observatory is simply ingenious! and what a beast 16" LX200, I know because I have 14" one, and I hope your observatory is secure and you have alarm system to stop someone breaking into to steal, You could use sim based alarm that can dial your mobile when someone may make an attempt to steal. by the way where abouts are you - I mean which contry you are from?

McCo64 Ha Ha! thanks for coming back and what a beautiful drive through small roads to your observatory, looks just like our English countryside, no difference, and your observatory is very well constructed with a good design for the roof that slides out of the way, proper steps and professional all along. Have you observed anything interesting and taken some pictures of planets or galaxies, it has been real bad weather in England for a decent viewing, cloudy and background light spoil all the fun.
