I saw this a few years ago then found all the other Travels with Pevsner episodes. While they're all fine, they're not a patch on this one.

As an Agnostic, I still think it's a pity he needs to regularly sneer at Christianity and the very idea of a God.

Why? He sneers at everything else. Why should be religion be so special that Meades doesn't sneer at it?

He does say militant athiesm runs in his family, in this very programme.
