For me chimera is not terrifying but its pretty annoying...because its can peek or pop up from corner or a bush and take 400 to 500 hp of from my tank and get back into cover. And it's most annoying when I am in a low alpha but high dpm tank because I can't push him if he have support. But yea if chimera gets caught alone without any support its basically game over for it. Because it's got long reload and enemy will take advantage of it so always stay with your team if possible. Also its is a second line tank. Its can go frontline but not against high dpm tanks..also don't relay on armor its troll but not good. Because people will load gold ammo and pen that turret like butter.

Chimera also has reactive amor, so if he's peeking is hard to out trade him in damage

I personally run Reticle calibration on chimera because I can do snapshots better and its good for moving and firing. Reactive armor is good but I prefer more accurate shots and firepower. Because its not that great of a frontline tank anymore so I play second-line in it so gotta make every shot count.

man, i love this thing, but to all their own opinion. stats are 60% wr (coming from a 52% wr player) and 2000 avg dmg.

I see it as a decent sniper and good for hull down. Also it is essentially just a british tiger 2 but with better concealment, a better gun, bad armour, good speed and the same max health as the lycan during close quarters combat.

Just got this with M-IV-Y. I like better than the M-IV-Y but, not much better than it. Taking some time to master and yes I have crushed in it many times. SO many people know its weakness.

I thumped out 1000 games in it and aced it eventually, as it was one of my 1st premiums, I only play it for uk medium jobs now. Just a 50% winrate in it and around 1200 games. It's still a keeper just for the Gun Barrel and stays in my garage forever 440 Alpha

Mmmm idk Meadsy, over 4k to ace a T8 medium tank is a huge amount, and I still see a lot of pros spamming the Chimera at T8, there must be be a reason for that. If you think about it, it actually has a lot of good things: it is a medium that cannot be rammed as it is quite heavy, but still decently mobile, it has a bigger alpha than most heavies and even TDs, it has decent armor against other mediums and great gun dep, it has better on the move and stationary dispersion and accuracy than most of heavies (I mean, even the Tiger 2 is less accurate), and to add more you can run it with reactive armor to compensate a bit the fact that it is a medium with less HP than a heavy. And yeah, btw, it also has better camo values and vision than any heavy. So, it is still a great tank imo, a heavium that, when used correctly, is a beast, and a mediums bully.

Everyone NEEDS to take time when shooting. There are way too many newer players that miss or bounce shots and die too early in the battles. Would be nice if players would take more pride in their game... pretend the battle is real. They'll realize sooner the importance of staying alive to end of battles & causing lots of damage to enemies are the TOP 2 most important things needed. - I still feel chimera is a great tank.

Yo. That's what WOT is for. Blitz is short and intense battles. If you want strategy and longer games go to PC or Console.

@Ram-lt4bu LOL, sounds like u dont know much about the game yet. Blitz is a strategic game, and knowing that tanks have different strengths, armor thickness is weaker on sides & rear, speeds and knowing which areas on maps will be best suited for certain tanks. If you lose battles majority of the time, that's no fun. The different tank classifications - HEAVY, Mediums etc... have specific job duties & should be used in those ways to be more successful.

@@PGcrazy6 Yeah you're right. I've only been on the platform for almost ten years and Blitz for 2 years. I have 531 tanks in 1 3/4 years. I don't know anything. Especially when I remember EXACTLY how it was advertised. Quick and intense games on your work break, lunch or even in the car. I ONLY play Blitz because I quit watching TV altogether. It sucks. Blitz is typically for the people who REALLY suck on PC/console. Or for people who can't quite get the spotlight on the PC platform so they cling to Blitz and try to make it competitive. Kinda like Dribbles. However, it's just for fun. It's that way by design not wish so stop wishing.

With your experience you know its intense & strategic 7 min battles. Not sure why u didn't say that in beginning. In the end, we both know all these online multiplayer games are designed to get everyone to spend money on the game and none of the games are fair to the players. I always try to do better, it gives myself a challenge.

Is Chimera terrifying?? Ask that to tier 7 mts, especially when you being a lone tier 7 going against 2 tier 8s, (thank the f king matchmaking) and one of them being chimera.... Yes given the chance it can bang you pretty hard, the alpha is 440 but it does close to 500, almost like a german 12.8 cm....which is something you dont want as a MT on the receiving end....
