As broke as my husband and I was when we got married, he saved his money and brought my ring he paid what he could afford...Forward 33 years later, he was able to make up for it and then some...At the time I was making more money than he was and never ever would he ask me to buy my own engagement ring...Even if Jonathan had to make payments he should have never had her pay for her own ring...Its the meaning behind the ring and when it is placed on the finger ...JMO

Hi Ms. Patty, I thought a couple weeks ago Jonathan and Meagan broke up. Wish them the best. Someone was talking about his net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he's net worth is $500,000. So, I imagine those lawyer fees and whatever else he's been paying is the reason why. Hopefully this new movie will be the start of his career reviving. Netflix is a very big network. Everything comes on that streaming channel. Having Beyonce on their network is a win for them. They know what their doing. They know what she brings as far as fans and viewers. Netflix is very smart. I see from the comments that people are surprised that Meagn Good bought her own ring. I know beautiful, accomplished, and seemingly intelligent women who bought their own rings, paid for their own weddings, receptions, and honeymoons without ANY financial help from their husbands. These same women moved their unemployment or underemployed men into their homes some with children. It just breaks my heart that these women had such low self-esteem that they felt the need to settle for so little. I really don't understand. In a few cases, the husbands had baby mother drama and/or substance abuse problems.😢
