@@ferrelldrewry - it is definitely fiction. A U.S. ATTORNEY would know how to contact the court and reschedule the hearing. But more importantly, she had no basis for accusing the judge of treating her differently from others who came in late before she arrived because she wasn’t there and wouldn’t know how he reacted. This was her first time in his courtroom, how would she know he had a “pattern” of bias against Blacks? The bailiff and the court reporter knew his pattern of behavior because they had been there 15 years, but she had never seen this judge deal with anyone but herself when she launched into that “I have a dream” diatribe against him.

I'm a 76 year old white male and NONE of this surprises me. I see it virtually every day and such beehavior rarely struck me as being not only illegal but insensitive. What now troubles me mowt deeply is the lack of action taken to punish such behavior. I have been naively going through my later life thinking that racism was on the downswing. Now, I'm amazed at how blind I have been to the matter. We ALL need to do a bit of self examination and remember that this behavior has impact on all of us. Please accept my apology for not paying attention to what was really going on right in front of me.

You’re absolutely right-this story really puts a spotlight on the crucial need for fairness in every part of society, especially the courtroom. It’s so easy to forget that people often face unconscious bias simply because of their appearance or background. But what stood out to me in Sarah’s story wasn’t just the injustice she faced, but the way she carried herself-she didn’t let that moment define her. She *owned* it. Imagine how much more powerful that would be if everyone, in every situation, didn’t let others' assumptions shape their actions. @@perkalov You are absolute right Oerkalov, this whole thing is a piece of fiction. She supposedly is 15 minutes late, however at 19.24 she recounts how several others got there before her but only the blacks got scolded. None of them are the judge named in this story. (and only one of them is a white man anyway). Racism is real. Stuff LIKE this really does happen. But this video is made-up AI slop, narrated by AI, just to earn ad click money. The creator of this story spent less time making it than anyone spent watching it. It's easy to make videos quickly if you let AI make things up that didn't happen.

I'm a 38 year old male crying right now, here is my short story. She's standing up for me and ppl like me! Because in other people's eyes we're all the same criminal, or stereotype based on color, or even public political biases, when that's further from the truth. Thank you sis for your bravery and prestige, Miss Sarah Collins! I am on Social Security disability and when I talk to Social Security or people in public when pulling out my EBT card, if they don't see the physical disability that they are looking for you get treated like the scum of the Earth. I have a mental disability, that cannot be seen and it feels embarrassing, dang outright shameful because of the short end of the stick that I've been dealt with in life since I've been born. Now that Mr. Trump is in office 2nd term not him indirectly but the people that support him who are racist, I pray that they can see racism for what it is and make a change like Sam Cook spoke on I pray that Mr Trump can support Social Security people who actually need it and discern the differences cannot be stereotyped. Do you know what it feels like to be stereotyped based of something that you didn't even do or never have? Even in shorts/ works that I did in life wanting to be a filmmaker, my work and talent was glossed over in college when getting my Bachelor's of Science Degree, because of the color of my skin only to be praised given to somebody else and you never getting the chance that you needed in life to be pushed forward heard or seen you k owing your work was amazing in your heart. That is called privilege.... And because of my disabilities no mater how hard you tried to succeed, you cant because of you limitations, and on top of that, depression arrives because that's where your heart and passion laid that killed all hopes and dreams, right there hurts a man's soul! No I have worked very hard in life to try in make it only to be classified as a criminal racially stereotyped minus on going disabilities. Thank you Miss Sarah Collins!

He was sentenced for a crime he did not commit and later found out it was his cousin that did it. and my son ended up getting infected with HIV in the 80' s and he passed away , he was my first born and only son. Yeah. Look at all the people who believe this is a true story. Even though the other youtube post of this video announces it is a fictional story. Education? We the people need to teach 'We The People' how to spot out bull sh*t tall tales. There is no Federal Prosecutor in Atlanta named Sarah Collins. This never happened. All systemic racial bias in the courts of Atlanta, Georgia continues to exist... as it was. The problem has not been fixed. Also, the 'evidence' in this story is fictitious.

I am so proud of this young woman who stood up to clear bias with professionalism and courage. One black woman changed so much. The story brought tears to my eyes. The struggle for blind justice is ongoing. It is gratifying to know that there are people willing to look injustice directly into its face and take deliberate, unflinching action to challenge and change it.

This is awesome 👌. Her actions make me so proud! It's just too bad it does not apply to everyone. The law is clear on who can apply, run, and sit in the presidency. Yet, our simplist of laws is STILL not applied to everyone . We, as Americans, sit quietly and allow it happen.

How I wish that was a TRUE story. It occurs all the time. Not just with judges. Prosecuting attorneys as well. This leads back to the police department. As they know which attorneys to use because of their record.

I love hearing this; her giving him time to say whatever he wanted to say, no matter who she was & didn't even give her a chance to speak, after she was able to speak; she let him know in proof who she was . I really applaud her not just for her but for others; that he would have to think about how he treated others from that day forward. Great that this was shown throughout the communities.😊 I really hope this is done for others concerning the law systems.
