I'm so glad I found your video. I have what is called 'Acid Reflux' and was given meds to lower my stomach acid. I then found out that between 20-30 of Acid reflux is caused by not enough stomach acid. When I embarked on the carnivore diet, I had the same problem as yourself and others here. I was given a whole load of advice but nobody mentioned stomach acid problems. Then I find you and BINGO... there it is.

What are you doing for low stomach acid ?

Thank you so much for addressing this. I tried carnivore and on the fourth day I had these exact symptoms. As soon as I ate all my energy went to my stomach and I ended up in bed for the rest of the day. I tried to continue on the diet eating smaller meals more frequently but I would get so sick that I was afraid to put food in my mouth which ended up making me even weaker. So I stopped the diet and went straight back into a sad diet. Now that I have some answers I’m ready to try again. I have sever RA and refuse to take immune suppression medication. But I have taken massive amounts of ibuprofen for years. I feel like this is my last hope. So thank you again for addressing this issue

ibuprofen damages the gut lining badly. It may take a long time, but stick with it, one day it will just get so much better.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I totally relate to the almost passing out after eating food. I have suffered from gastritis and very low stomach acid these past couple of years. Recently, I have tried carnivore and it seems to be the only diet that doesn't wreck my gut. I love your suggestions about grinding the meat and eating smaller meals. Makes total sense asI feel m stomach can't yet handle too big of a meal. Seriously, thank you for taking the time to put together this video and sharing!

yeah, the feeling of passing out and about to black out seem to be a very good indication that there is no stomach acid production.

Choline is an amazing subject to study~ so many benefits, both short & long term. I am currently researching how choline affects our aging process, as well as it's ability to help prevent alzheimers & other brain degenerations. Appreciate the post today, considering how fragile the stomach can be, it behooves us to understand how food, lifestyle, stress, etc affects our stomach & overall digestive system. So glad that you have had success in healing yourself~ very informative, & generous of you to share your experiences. ~Samantha in AZ

I would guess stewing the beef slowly until falling apart, not including any extra fat and using the broth with egg yolks dropped in the broth (like egg drop soup) might be easier on the stomach. Save the beef and mince. Start with one cup and increase as tolerated, then add beef as tolerated.

This is my chronic illness life experience for so many years post eating disorders and I'm struggling to heal it and I get soooo tired too after eating most food plus gut bloating and pain. Bananas are easiest for me too. Eggs are not easy to digest generally but I'll try again egg yolks on their own. Thankyou for this. It's very hard to eat when your stomach is hurting and we have low stomach acid and chronic fatigue. Thankyou so much for helping this problem.

I have been struggling with zero stomach acid. I’ve been on HCL with pepsin which is working but it isn’t a cure. I’m glad I found your video. When you mention baby stomach that made complete sense. I will purée my meat but my question is there’s it need to be only red meat? It isn’t appetizing to me whatsoever. I haven’t eaten red meat in ions. Can it be chicken or Turkey? What about fish? Thank you in advance!!

I made a bone broth yesterday also had fat in it. Didn’t realize it can cause acid reflux. Carnivore diet had healed my acid reflux was surprised after 6 months , I experienced acid reflux again. I also tried reintroducing raw milk into my diet this week. So not sure if that also caused my acid reflux. Maybe I need to remove dairy again or drink less. I had three glasses yesterday.

Exactly what I was experiencing , thanks you very much for your video . I was iffy going back and forth the carnivore diet , fasting I felt better but after eating high protein or even fats like butter I noticed the symptoms at different levels such as palpitations anxiety dry white mouth etc and I realized it might be the stomach acid or lack of enzimas . I took Hcl and felt better . I wonder if That’s why some carnivores seem to do better with fruit (they contain digestive enzymes like papaya and pineapple) it makes perfect sense now . Thanks again
@CarnivoreCoachSylvia2 жыл бұрын
I think so. When all else fails, i suggest to add little bit of fruit and it resolves all the challenges people have with digestion or diarrhea. That said it is my last line of defense.

Can I get your advice please? HCL and ox bile do nothing for me. I think digestive bitters would help me create my “own” acid and bile. But I’m scared because they contain plants which probably have lots of antinutrients, oxalates, and lectins. What do you suggest?
@CatWoman62 жыл бұрын
It's the same for Me too - hcl does not really help at all. Or enzymes
@absolve4024 Жыл бұрын
I just take the bitters anyway, but I think the goal for me is addressing all the bugs that have settled in due to compromised motility . So I’m going after parasites while on the carnivore diet. In fact I was on parasite protocols before but they always hid and now with meat they are coming out abundantly. So I guess I’ll have to figure out my meal amounts with the bitters until I bring in my own stomach acid which my practitioner is working on with mineral water and breathwork. (And micronutrients). But I think bugs suppress stomach acid so I’m adding on killing pathogens for my own mental health and physical safety while on the diet.
