I used to shop after work so I was already tired, my go to meal after shopping was a rotisserie chicken, deli potato salad and baked beans with pre-made corn bread and clementine for dessert. I’m so thankful for your lazy lady chicken salad idea! Sam’s club has a Pineapple Jalapeño Popper dip that is perfect for this. I honestly don’t even make the chicken salad… just smear some dip on a wrap, toss on some chicken and a lettuce leaf, and call it good. Hope y’all have a fabulous summer!

Thanks for the summer meal ideas! My son’s family occasionally makes those meatball appetizer meals, but for the sauce they use one can of whole cranberry sauce mixed with 1/2 bottle of chili sauce. It’s delicious on the meatballs. Sometimes they also get a little container of cheese pearls to serve with the meatballs. The young kids love it!

The carnitas from Aldi is amazing. I added it to my list after you first showed it, and then bought 2 more during my last trip to freeze. The pasta sauce looks amazing (I love fire roasted tomatoes). Quick tip, if you add 1-2 tbsp of a good balsamic vinegar to a premade sauce (after cooking it) it balances the flavors and adds depth so that it tastes like you've been cooking it all day. I also have the meatballs in rotation during the summer (my kids love anything snacky like that). We do a combination of chili sauce and cranberry sauce so that they are a bit more tart than sweet. I keep meaning to try the chicken salad....one of these days I'll remember when I'm making out my list!

I have always made the 3 ingredient meatball recipe with meatballs, a jar of grape jelly, and a bottle of chili sauce. Delicious! When my kids lived at home they were always excited when I made these.

If you need something easy in the crockpot. Frozen ravioli, marinara, and pesto. Stir. Put it on the keep warm setting all day. Right before serving top with cheese. Melts in mins.

Love love love the idea of a capsule meal plan. It's just a realistic way to take some of the stress away from meal planning. I am not an amazing cook, but I've started planning my meals around a base capsule of freezer / pantry / fridge ingredients, and it's been a game-changer. Thank you for talking about this; more people need to see these videos with real-life ways to meal plan instead of 20 beautifully prepped containers for the week. Also, I need to try that smores hack. We tried regular smores once, and my kids almost melted marshmallows to my brother-in-law's face. Maybe we'll microwave instead :)

Shredded pork, even bbq, make good taquitos. I haven't used my air fryer for that YET, but I do plan to. With regular pork, I dip in green salsa and sour cream.. just sour cream for the bbq.

We do these meatballs but never done it with BBQ sauce, we use Chili sauce and grape jelly. Often with the little smokies but meatballs are good too. Just a little different but is SO good!

Have you ever tried farro? It’s another grain that is great to substitute for orzo in salads- I like using it with chopped spinach, red onion, Kalamata olives, balsamic vinaigrette, and feta. Yum!

I used to use rotisserie chickens a lot, maybe they're cheaper now, but I stopped because I found that I could buy the giant bulk bag of chicken breasts and as part of meal prep I gauge how much pre shredded chicken ill need that week and put it all in crockpot with salt and pepper. It shreds itself, I use the meat masher tool, that you use for ground beef. It all breaks apart. And then stick some in the freezer some in the fridge and we will use that for practically anything and everything. Cheaper, easier. Get way more.

I starting adding convenience items to my monthly shopping trip to try to cut down on ordering out and to have a quick dinner on the fly. Chicken patties, hamburger and turkey burger patties, French fries, cheese tortellini etc.

Great video! Perfect timing, too. I'm working on a meal plan for my families upcoming beach vacation and needed some ideas. I don't mind when you have repeat recipes. It's a reminder that we need to try them! I was just thinking that I need to make the brined pork again. I make the Meatballs all the time sometimes I use orange marmalade or apricot jam instead of grape jelly and both of those are super delicious as well! Also tried the yogurt pie recipe it's really easy and tastes fantastic! Thanks for all the easy dinner ideas! 😊

We cook pork shoulders in our sous vide with basic seasoning and when it comes out it’s super juicy and the flavor is throughout the meat. Then we shred it and put some in the freezer for later use. My favorite thing is BBQ pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw on them. It’s so delicious.

Not only was it way more watery than usual, there was not a single spec of a mushroom. At $1.50 a can, I can easily say no to this product. Thank you for your videos. I love them all! It has become so humid and hot here in the south. Mu husband gets so hot at work. He really has nights that all he wants is tuna salad and crackers. I love my grill to keep from heating up my kitchen. We will have something grilled with a cold side. Hubby really like grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. I will eat everything you came up with. 🙂

I love the concept of thrive market and I actually am a person who got a free membership because I am a low income household.
