you don't realize this but you have just saved me a ton of money! the problem is I always put Greens in my smoothies but I like to buy the big bags to save money unfortunately I don't go through the bags fast enough and the greens go bad before I can use them all, but your idea of freezing the greens for the smoothies will keep them from going bad before I can use them especially if they are all portioned out, you are a genius! one more reason why I love your channel because you are always helping me solve problems and come up with ideas, thank you

Hi, I have been using the bag method for quite awhile. It really helps when I freeze my yogurt in a glass casserole dish then cut into cubes. This allows me to prep all ingredients and dump into blender with either coconut water, coconut milk, or almond milk. Delish!

Hi Alyssia, I'm a competitive athlete and in a week I'm going to be leaving for a four-day competition(not the Olympics unfortunately 😄). I'll be staying at a hotel with a teeny fridge, and typically I would eat at a restaurant the whole weekend, but this time, in hopes of maximizing my performance, I will be meal prepping. I will watch your vids on meal prep (I've already watched a couple, they're really helpful!), but until then would you have any tips for me, such as how to store food in a limited space, and do I need to keep everything frozen?
@psycuriall41018 жыл бұрын

If i were you i would make a big caserole with brown rice, one with grilled vegg, another one with grilled chicken, some curry and boil some eggs. Those should be ok for 3-4 days if kept in the fridge. Fresh veggies and fruits, oats and you're good to go. Just put whatever you feel like eating on a plate and heat it up.

HI! I was just wondering if ya had any tips for converting my family from junky food to more healthy food? We all just love chips and fried fish because its what we grew up with, but I want to try better. Btw I am the youngest in a family of 5 so I don't get much input XD
@MindOverMunch8 жыл бұрын
My best advice is to not try and "convert" anyone, but just to gradually start to make healthier choices. Try some baked fish recipes or even healthier potato dishes to satisfy those cravings :) If you all make the changes together as a family you will have better support to succeed!! :) Don't try to change too much at once, try to establish some short term goals to build habits as you go :)

@lilinglo11078 жыл бұрын
if you want to have a nice vibrant colour, try matching the colours of the fruits or use fruits that doesn't give out a strong colour.(e.g. banana) Avoid blending berries and greens together as they turn out brown.
@crimeslime54198 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I'm better at making smoothies but sometimes I still need to add protein powder, and I happen to have a chocolate flavor (which I don't even like much) and if always ruins the green or purple ness of my smoothies

@JudyNepune8 жыл бұрын
it was way too thick, don't use nuts and Protein powders! actually fruit and nuts or fats don't go well together because they digest at different times. try to make a Smoothie with only two ingredients, like banana and mango and lots of water or spinach and apple and banana. don't overmix and dont mix dairy with fruit.
@katirib8 жыл бұрын
