I had to live on liquids without sugar or carbonated beverages for a month before I had gastric bypass surgery. I had to drink 4 of the protein shakes daily and I tried them all! The only way a few, a very few were palatable were to freeze them and drink them as they thawed into a slushy consistency. I have been drinking one a day since and nope, they still suck.

The article they site is for an earlier product which was a powder you had to mix. What they're drinking here is Soylent 2.0 and it's premixed and sold as a drink. It doesn't have the problems of earlier versions.
