Love the light conditions you encountered. Looks like a great one to do in snow conditions so long as the snow isn’t too deep.

Hi Charles, It’s a cracking top for winter as it’s just the right distance and nothing too steep. Cheers, Charlie

Great video. I was out on Sunday as well and I think you guys made the better decision. I was considering Meall Ghaoraidh but elected for Ben Challum instead and after starting off a bit later than planned, really struggled in very deep snow and eventually turned around 50m below the summit due to poor conditions and fading light. It was a hard decision but the right one. Thanks for posting this video, they really make you want to get out and about in the Scottish hills. Thanks

When you read about this Munro you get the impression it doesn’t have much interest. However it seems to be a brilliant Munro to tackle in full winter conditions. I enjoyed your video. Brilliant views from up at the top. Thanks for sharing and highlighting the benefits of a winter outing.

Hi Charles, The winter conditions can certainly enhance the Munro experience on some tops and as they generally have the rounded landscape which takes away the fear of any large drops. It's a bonus with Meall Ghaordaidh as it also provide spectacular surrounding views. No such thing as a dull Munro as you just can't measure the individual benefits of getting out and giving it a try 👍 Cheers, Charlie
