Scottish canadian here. I watch you every Sunday just to hear your voice. I have been away since 1980 and still have my accent. I was pleased to see that you had a mince round. One of my favorites and I just by chance that's what I made for Sunday dinner today.

Tuna mayo is my absolute favourite jacket potato topping! Sometimes I make stuffed jackets - scoop out the centres, mix with cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, spring onions and chives and pile back in the skins and back in to the oven for a bit. Really tasty with sausages and some salad ❤

I was born and raised in America, lived here and traveled extensively your channel is the only place I've seen sweet corn in tuna with mayo. I've seen all sorts of things like grapes, carrots, celery, radishes, green peppers but never corn. I just figured it was a Scottish thing

@@MNTNSTARZ80. No it's a British thing. Tuna and Sweet corn with mayo is popular, also Tuna crunch which has chopped red onion in. Good sandwich fillings. Can eat Tuna till it comes out my ears, prefer it to tinned salmon.

Used to work in a chippy! Surprising what get as perks. Our fryer once tried deep fried mars bars! Wasted whole pan of oil because they didn't freeze mars bars before double dipping!

Good evening, Cheryl. Everything looks amazing as usual. I have never thought of adding cauliflower to mac and cheese but it sounds like it would be fantastic. Cauliflower and cheese and mac and cheese usually have pretty much the same cheese sauce so why not combine them. Brilliant! Hope you have a safe and warm week. From Melissa

It is us who are blessed to have YOU! If you have a video for the white parsley sauce I would love for you to repost it sometime. Tuna salad (for us) is mayo, canned tuna, sweet Gherkins finely diced, and a lot of pepper. Always best in a sandwich with romaine (Cos). When I was on business in North Carolina it was common to tuna salad with cheese in it. Honestly, I could not taste the cheese so it didn't matter. Tuna on a baked potato... unusual, but nothing wrong with it. Thanks for taking the time to film the weeks dinners and compile them for all of us. Hope you week is awesome and ends off with roses & chocolates (I'm talking to you Mr. What's-For-Tea lol)

I'd prefer tuna mornay as the filling rather thsn tuna mayo. You can also have tuna mornay on top if cooked cabbage.... delicious

I had a wee Killie steak pie with veg, chips & gravy myself this week & really enjoyed it, a wee change from my usual mashed tatties.😋 I’m definitely on team Cheryl when it comes to baked potatoes with a big slab of butter, topped with Tuna, onion & sweetcorn mayo - definitely my favourite baked tattie combo!👌 Off to check out your mince round recipe & give that a go this week, your Balmoral Chicken looks amazing too, but cost wise that’ll need to be a wee special treat at some point. @@LindaC616 Curry sauce is not one of my favourites, but you have to watch out. Worked in a chippy and there are two sorts if curry sauce, normal and Chinese! Avoid the second, really watery. Had custard once at Chinese made with water!

Tuna salad in the US does not have corn in it. Usually pickles, celery and mayo and it is served cold as a sandwich.

2:30 we call it tuna or tuna salad, but that i know of, corn is never added. I grew up eating tuna by draining the can, mixing in mayo and pickles. I dont like onions so you can add that if you'd like or any veggie like such as celery or carrots, bell pepper. But I've never seen tuna in a America with corn. And yes, i can't get over the tuna on top of a baked potato! 😮 ❤❤❤ But I'd be willing to try it!

Watching from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and your meals look scrumptious Cheryl. Thanks for sharing! I thought I heard you mention making smoked haddock stew sometime soon...maybe a month or so ago. I'm not sure, but I don't think haddock was available when you went shopping that week. I have wanted to make that for a couple of years, but I couldn't find it here. I made creamy salmon stew last year at this time. I found that I can get the Haddock at Martin's. Now, I just need a good authentic recipe. Perhaps, I missed it. I apologize, if so.

Yum! I’m jealous of all the different varieties of chips & other potatoes you have there! Not to mention fish cakes! Everything looked delicious except for the tuna in the baked potatoes! My biggest dislike tho is the corn. Never heard of putting corn in things that you do. Tuna salad here (in my house) has green relish, mayo, green onions, lemon juice & plenty of cracked black pepper- NO CORN ha, ha. Love your channel & never miss one!

It seems incredible you've never cooked cabbage. There are spring cabbages, Savoy cabbage, white cabbage, red cabbage sweetheart cabbage and so the list goes. Do try as all are not only delicious but nutritional.
