It should be applauded how Meal Worms eat everything on their plate. Growing up, my cousin Ebony was a picky eater. Something ALWAYS tasted funny or she didn't like the way that it was prepared. I did not see one worm object the meal before them. Take note, Ebby. This is an appreciative bunch grateful for food.

Do they only eat dead animal? What if you put your hand in it? We used to have some game that you have to pick up coin in these worms, likely mealworm too, but how they know your hands are alive and don't eat you, or they will if you put in them long enough? Do you know they are eating you like when I try to pick up the coins?

that's okay, actually you can try sleeping in a casket filled with them and it should feel really comfy and tickling, when you wake up you'll feel lighter and any discomfort on some parts of your body will be gone

You would think they would have some kind of senses to detect when food is nearby. For the most part it looks like the only worms that are eating were the ones closest to the food, and the majority of them around the sides just stayed there.
