My purple passion is going through a mealy bug infestation right now. Could I hose that down in the sink to remove all the little eggs I can't see? I tried my best to remove the big ones but there are a bunch of tiny green dots which I think are eggs or nymphs. Very new to all of this so any advice for treatment on a smaller plant would be much appreciated!!

I have that to my papaya plant i did this and 😭😭😭😭 no leave it rip the leaf so shop bold the whole tree and start fresh
