In our current lexicon, she is referred to as a “Karen” and entitled is a good word to describe such a creature. Stay safe and warm.

Amazing. In this hard techno world, we suddenly find a humanistic person with a human face and real emotions. An example to follow. Thank you from Oslo. Cheers.

Never mind the mountain lions, bears and snakes. Beware of the Karens, 😂 I feel the same way as you. People are so much nicer over seas. Happy trails brother. I’m looking forward to the next video.

Wow! You are amazing! I have traveled to 20 different countries in the world but never for such a long period of time. I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for posting them. Looks like that lady watches too many scary films and is scared of her own shadow. I think that it's the scary films on TV that make people in the US so fearful of what they don't understand.

So glad to see you back on the walk, closing in on this last final stretch. I was also wondering when, not if, you would have these kinds of aggressive experiences in the US, these kinds of "you don't belong here" comments and behaviors that are not uniquely American but common enough to know you'll have to deal with them sooner or later. But I'm so glad the rancher opened his horse barn to you and that you can have a warmer night inside... it makes such a difference, doesn't it? Have a good rest, and happy walking tomorrow - Jenn B.

Probably doesn’t want her bike path to turn into Portland Sacto and SF bike paths, if you catch my drift.

People need to learn to mind their own F business.... You should consider hanging a sign on the outside of your tent just so types of folks to get it twisted and come at you like that. :\ I was legit waiting for something like this to happen as well, and def an American thing.

Very sad to hear. Our “culture” here should be ashamed

Wondering if all that fencing is because they are keeping livestock in, or are they keeping people out? It is a shame that you didn't feel very welcomed in your own country. People here in the US are freaking out about illegal immigrants, homeless people who may or may not be addicts or suffer from a mental health issue, etc. and assume everyone they don't recognize is a threat. I hope you have a better experience and I certainly hope no one calls the police if they encounter you camped out somewhere.

It's a mixture of both, cattle ranches are always huge fenced in properties, and there are lots of them in CO, but in this area it seems there's no reason to fence in the property other than the culture of it.
