Kyrgyzstan!!!! I am definitely HOOK to your vlogs. Don't forget that when it's hard you have many people pushing with you and Savannah, you might not really realize it from where you are but many of us are traveling through your stories and we are all with you somehow! I'd love to see a map of what's coming up on your itinirary, what's after Kyrgyzstan? Mongolia through Russia? Tadjikistan? Anyway, wherever man! Your life is a book ♥️

Hey Tom, Glad to see you back on the road!! I feel you on waiting for weather/seasonal changes, shifting circumstances and mini-logistics breaks in between long phases of the walk... Lluís and I walked Uzbekistan in June/July and the heat was so hard.. the hot air was so intense we felt our eyes were always burning. We even tried late night and very early morning walking in the dark with flashlights, but that was equally exhausting. And, we often camped behind stubbly bushes because it was so hard to find trees to hide behind. But so great that you were able to get back and get your vaccine, and in a couple days you'll be in Samarkand, an interesting Silk Road city. Big hugs as you keep moving ahead on your journey. We're always cheering you on - Jenn and Lluís, from Bangkok Barcelona on Foot.

I was wondering why you had stopped... glad to know that everything is ok! Your videos in the desert and under that heat are incredible. The heat I am familiar with (40 degrees celsius) but the flat terrain no! it's amazing

Hey, love the videos. I wanted to ask how you manage to carry or find enough dog food while on the road. I have a year old Malinois who I plan to take with me on multiple months long walks and have been pondering how to effectively provide for my dog on the road. Cheers

Can you please do a video explaining visas? I don't understand how you are in Uzbekistan. The land borders are closed.

Do you get eaten up by mosquitoes? Is the water safe for Sav to drink?

Do the people understand (with language barrier) why you are walking with a dog and a cart?

People are probably confused why he would do it, but I think they understand what he's doing. My opinion anyway 😁

Was wondering if some people (who haven’t talked to him) think he’s homeless/penniless and can’t go back home so are extra generous to him and Sav. As they may assume foreigners have money and usually travel by car.
@cindyobrien97943 жыл бұрын
Yes, Kismet, that is what I was wondering. If people think he is just poor.
@MinotaurvsCyclops3 жыл бұрын
@@kismetau I can't speak from the experience of Uzbeks, but in Thailand, white people are known for liking to do things on the cheap, extreme travel, and I think people would assume he's a crazy white traveller. Can probably see from his camera and his headphones he isn't poor or homeless. If anyone sees his camera and him talking then they probably think he's a KZbinr.

Did Savannah follow you back to the US when you went back for your vaccine? Does she need to serve any quarantine as pets travel between borders?
@littlebeast12992 жыл бұрын
I'm curious about this too. They need shots before every border cross land or air...unless in the united kingdom

He said on his podcast that his visa (l think in Uzbekistan) was only for a month and he couldn’t get any longer.
@scottbaxter26822 жыл бұрын
@@kismetau He could have stayed as long as he wanted and just pay a very small Tarif (fine). Also, flying home to get injected with a non approved dangerous drug that neither prevents infection or transmission was not a good idea but I suppose his sponsor (s) recommended it.
