I lived in NYC from 8 to 15, then I returned to Europe and thank God my children and grandchildren were born here. It's not perfect anywhere but there sure is awful lot of racism and crime in the USA. The only real Americans are the American Indians that the first colonisers wiped out. I originate from Hungary, and am proud to be who I am. Anyway, we are ONE people, ONE planet. That we are the best thing is arrogant ignorant and stupid, especially that people in the USA originate from all over the world. Each and every human being is equally precious and unique.

Also, places in the USA are French, other German, clearly, there is more than just Great Britain. There are Lee's, they are originally from Asia for example, look at Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana (French name, but pronounced in English), same for Iowa which has the capital Des Moines. The USA is so mixed, you cannot say that they come from a specific place.
