Hey everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited we are taking a look at this awesome Class A Gas Toy Hauler Motorhome! This is the 2023 Thor Outlaw 38KB which is an awesome newer floorplan from the outlaw series... Outlaw is a custom style motorhome that really doesnt have competition. What I love it that it has tier 4 luxury qualities one of those being fullbody paint! Now with that said LOOK AT THIS PAINT JOB! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

My wife and i will be getting this RV. The deck and the garage is what sold us. We immediately recognised that we had finally found an RV model that suites our specific needs. We plan to use the garage as a full time mobile office where we will both work. Thor if you are seeing this, It would be really nice if you had a floor plan called "Remote Worker" where the garage is outfitted with fold down desks, connectors in the floor for office chairs, room for wall mounted widescreen computer monitors on monitor arms. This really could be marketed as a "remote worker rv". If you want more ideas reply back, I have many many more ideas.

I prefer the older version that had the loft over the garage that you could access from the master bedroom via a set of steps. The bedroom was a little smaller but I think it would be better to access the loft from the actual living space.

Exactly. With the stairs inside you can remove the bed to make an office and use the loft as the bedroom and still have room for toys.

Right and if the garage sofas are in bed mode the ladder cant be in place going to the loft. Old design definitely safer and better

Just think, 8 years ago, these were $120K. Love the color scheme but I liked the layout of my 2014 Outlaw better with the winding stairs from the back bedroom better. Plus the loft had its own windows! Also, I'd definitely want the half bath in the garage area. The quality back then though was pretty bad as mine leaked like a sieve and all the indoor cabinet latches popped loose. This one has much better trim and love the sofa up front.

8 years ago? 3.5 years ago they were that price. These prices are since COVID and people spent obscene vacation money on RVs and now they're sitting bat storage lots and rv dealers are swamped with inventory it's just a matter of time till prices are where they should be again

Gorgeous color scheme - paint AND interior! Love that bunk in the toyhauler as well! At this point, we have motorcycles, so the height wouldn’t be a problem, and I love that that bunk really is like a mini bedroom! Plus, I love how “convertible” that garage is - so much sleeping and hanging out space! Bathroom: I love the tall toilets. I’m an amputee, so those tall toilets are more like accessible height, and that’s easier for me…plus, hubby is 6’4”, so the taller the toilet, the better! Also love the shower height! I’m with Andrea on the kitchen size - wish it had a little more counter space. I like that there IS a pantry (or sorts), but I’d like a bigger one. I do love the dinette and sofa, by it’s definitely a little tight in there. Love all of the storage outside. Overall, really nice motorhome!

I really Like American RVs. The Layouts are so cool and you make so good use of space. But the lack of quality of all RVs and towables i have Seen from the US is just a joke. Im glad you have the Europe edition now. Because we have a lot better quality for the price you pay. Greetings from Germany

I LOVE the paint job, the floor plan, the interior, the storage, and the fact that it's gas. However, the MSRP is absolutely outrageous!!! Price is THE ONLY thing that Thor didn't hit outta the park with this Outlaw. Irs not a party machine Matt it's a family machine 🤣🤣🤣

I understand the intent behind the loft, but I think I prefer the two queen bunks that retract up into the ceiling like the ones in my 5th wheel toy hauler. The loft seems challenging to climb up into. Even for a kid. Thor has really improved the interior of the Outlaws. Older models were quite fugly 😁

I normally would not think of buying a toy hauler but this one is perfect. You can store your golf cart and have a decent living room in the back to hang with friends without being in your living space plus that great bunk.

Thank you for showing. I like the old version of solid stairs. Disabled people need solid stairs not cheap ladders. Loved it, but would not buy it because of the ladder.

The Outlaw is great! I love the green color in paint job! My dislikes are the same as yours. My likes are the bunk in the back and the bathroom and the bedroom. Very nice all around. Thor did a great job! Thank you Matt and Andrea! Great job! 👍

I really love the colors and the full paint on this unit. The bunk in the garage area is awesome, an the bathroom is great an the space is great. I really don't have any dislikes. This is not bad for a family that needs two bedrooms. I would like to see a half bath in the patio area. For the price, it is not a bad rig with a multipurpose room.

another great review Matt and Andrea. Overall, I love this motorhome. I ride a Harley and the toy hauler feature fits my lifestyle perfectly. Thor has come a long way with the textures of the interior of this unit. I really don't like the black and dark colors,. I much prefer lighter color options for wood and upholstery. I am also a little concerned that the unit is underpowered. Fully loaded with a 900lb motorcycle and perhaps towing a small vehicle plus other stuff, I would need some convincing that the Ford V8 is torqued sufficiently. I agree with Andrea that the kitchen area is a bit small, but willing to make the trade off for the awesome garage space. Also, the MSRP is getting out of control. I would need a significant discount to consider purchasing this. The Newmar Canyon Star is the only other option for this type of lifestyle and it is very well appointed. In the end it all will come down to $$$$$$.

I love the outlaw just wish you catered to the business class instead of just families. An example would be NO bunk over the cab, NO bunks in the garage . Exchange dinette for office desk, which interns extends the counter top space and gas/electric fridge. With those changes the CCC will increase quite a lot.

That ladder for the loft needs a definite upgrade. I wouldn't allow kids up that thing, and needs more counter space..that said, i like everything else including the dark cabinets (Sorry Andrea)😁

I get about 13.5 MPG on the highway in my 7.3 Tremor. I get 8-9 towing. I can imagine what this gets on the highway especially if you tow a car.

An 11' 6" garge would fit most 2 seat utvs like rzr or can am x3. right now you can maybe fit a golf cart or motorcycle but an extra foot and a half you would open your selves up to whole new market and alot more sales

Love the layout. Thor has more innovation and features in their version than Newmar. Problem is the gas engine. I had the same engine in 21' Fortis 32RW and it struggled on the west coast without a tow vehicle, much less with loaded with toys and towing a Wrangler like Thor shows on their Outlaw walkthrough video.

That bunk is cool but the ladder is stupidly too narrow! Might be ok for a 5 year old. What's funny is just yesterday you reviewed a tiny euro unit that had STAIRS to the overhead bunk! American makers need to get more creative. Countertop space is non-existent.

I love this toy hauler, the idea of having the ability to bring your toys and if you want to, a TOAD, is ultimate flexibility. BUT, it would be even better if it was a diesel. It would be wonderful if Thor could use their buying power with Ford to influence Ford to create a F53 chassis with the 6.7 Powerstroke diesel and 10 speed transmission. I would gladly pay $10k or even $15k more for this same motorhome with a 6.7 diesel. I just struggle with the idea of something with a 30,000 lb GCWR with a gas engine.

The loft over the garage is the reason I took the Outlaw off my list of possible RV's. The garage area has a weight capacity of 1350lbs. I have two Harley Davidson motorcycles (Heritage and Road Glide). Their combined weight is over 1350lbs. However, if Thor would removed the couple hundred pounds of materials needed to build the worthless loft, the garage capacity might actually get to the 1600lbs capacity I'd need to safely carry my bike. Oh well, until the garage capacity improves I will have to trailer my bikes...or eventually get a huge 5th wheel.

I know this is an older video but I think you can get me the answer I'm looking for. I've even tried Thor's web site and still cannot find the weight limit for the garage. Their Class Cs only allow 1000 lb. I need to know the limit in this Class A as my motorcycle weighs 1200 lbs. If you can find it, please reply to this comment. I would appreciate your help.

Hi Matt and Andrea . Not related to this unit but i wanted to put a bug in your ear and maybe you could pass it on . Murphy beds are a great idea but are still flawed in they are bulky and usualy block a window. In this time of scientific brainiacs why not engineer highly comfortable extremely comfortable sofa hide a beds. There has to be a way to do it . Just think how spacious a Small motorhome could be . Ps no air mattresses.

The MSRP went up $100k in 2021, from $209-$220k, to $299-$319k. Only for the dealer to discount them $100k, and then you pay more than you would of 2 yrs previously. The manufacturer now makes 15-25% more off the baseline and the dealers make less for no reason. Also, used Outlaws went up 20% with the new ones going up for now special new features. Just over added for supply chain issues and inflation…
