Mean Streak had the BEST, nicest ride ops. It was one of the things I loved about the ride. One night that I was at CP late, the team let me and my friend go around in the front seat three times in a row because nobody else was there, and MS gave a great night ride.

I'm with you. Haters gonna hate. I loved Mean Streak and I was really salty at Cedar Point when I heard they were murdering it. Now I've ridden Steel Vengeance and it's amazing, but I'm always going to have a soft spot in my heart for this old girl. (Also, I love that one of SV's slogans is "a mean streak lies beneath.")

It's so nice to see how Henry really had a true bond with the ride, even since it opened in 1991. I mean to ride it for over 25 years is impressive, and I can see why he'll miss it so much. I mean it's still a classic wood coaster, and to be able to ride it many times in the span of 25 years, you're gonna have a special relationship with it for the rest of your life.

@@coastaku1954 OHHH trust me buddy. There are plenty of coasters that I’ve ridden that I would actually want to burn to pieces. I never personally liked Mean Streak but I honestly didn’t have that big of an issue with it. It was rough but more of a bumpy-rough, sort of in between rough and bumpy, something similar to The Beast but a little worse. But like I said, I’ve ridden some coasters that are far, far worse. Son of Beast, White Canyon, Rattler, Wildcat...and another Wildcat.

It isn’t Rougarou, because it actually was built back in the 1990s. Rougarou was called Mantis, and was a stand up coaster for many years until they gave it a new paint job and new sit down trains, and renamed it Rougarou. Therefore it is most likely Valravn as Rougarou’s track and structure was built in 1996.
