Thank you MTM for posting this! I've stayed away from Remastered CS for a few months now because of my general frustrations and wanting to play through other games before CS2 releases. I loved CS1 on console and spent lots of hours on it and am disappointed in Remastered and slow updates. If CO is reading this, I've lost trust in your ability to deliver a console experience similar to the PC. Please release footage of the console version of CS2!!! MTM would be a great content creator to partner with to show what to expect with the console version of CS2!

I had a few issues on 25 tile PS5. When I hit pop of about 220k I seemed to lose all commercial demand and all the CIMs seemed to disappear from the streets. At about 260k, I hit a build limit and couldn't add anything else. But it was nice to build some huge suburbs for a change. I couldn't get near the eiffel tower unlock either, but that became nea impossible after industries dlc anyway. I think enhanced edition needed a bigger gap before CS2 comes out, but I'm okay with that. CO is a great developer that understands how to interact with their players and modders.

I've seen 2 of my commercial plazas become ghost towns with no one going to the shops at only 140k population 25 tiles on PS5

I'm starting to think every one of your cities needs a memorial park for something. Santo Rico is still the most traumatizing and hilarious one for me. 😂

PS5; I have had issues where items that should be unlocked are not (unique buildings).Load an old save to unlock it then go back to new city. One of my biggest complaints is game speed, especially at low populations, even at three speed. As @mattutes stated at about 220k they game goes haywire, even though all tiles are not unlocked. I have had to many issues with the parks catching fire, so I stopped using them.

My parks have been fine on Series X. On the Cities Skylines Club, I've shown pictures of my builds on remastered. Pretty outrageous quadruple transport intersections (2 of them) on my 25 tile map, done a ton of landscape reworking etc. Maybe its the save file size, hasn't that been an issue. You might have reached a save file size I'm yet to reach and will hit the same bug when I reach it.

I noticed some weird plane landings and takeoffs since the next remastered update, anyone else have this? I had planes taxing and then not even using the runway to take off... Very odd

Hey man, I was wondering how do you have so much more stuff to build like water filtering and stuff like that when we both have the same version of the game. Is it a dlc or something like that?

I have in over 100 hours on the remaster on ps5 and haven’t had any issues. I have everything unlocked and a city over 200k and no problems. What are you doing that gives you all these troubles? I have all DLCs too.

I keep getting random crashes in which the auto save always end up being corrupted. I’m also on PS5 with over 100 hours. You getting any crashes at all? Additionally, I had the postal truck/van bug which would be stuck on a loop at cargo train stations. Had to remove all postal buildings to stop it.

I'm on Xbox at 166 hours. I've run into a bunch of bugs, many that are well documented on the Paradox Forums. Personally I've experienced the save game bug (now patched), terrain issues, lost progress, lots of crashes. For me, it's time to take a break from Remastered before CSII.

Almost 100 hours on remastered for PS5 as well. The bugs on PS5 are more of a nuisance rather than gamebreaking. My least favorite is I get a frame rate drop everytime it rains, snows, or transitions to night time. I was building on a snow map and was to afraid to build a toll booth b/c of a gamebreaking bug with those in the snow. In general, Xbox has had it way worse with the bugs than PS5.

I put off playing remastered myself until the last DLCs and CCPs were updated last week. I have pretty much all of the DLCs and it was no fun playing a version of the game they didn't have those things available. I don't even use financial districts all the time, but just couldn't stand playing the game if it wasn't available. I also found it difficult to play without access to all of the cool districts and maps. So, all of that being said, I have been playing remastered non-stop for the past 2 weeks. Aside from having to try to do stupid things to unlock my unique buildings again, I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have run into only small issues on PS5. The biggest issue being the slow frame rate with 25 tile unlock option utilized. I hate to read about all of these issues and hope that they get fixed before CS2 drops. Always love your stuff MTM!

@@SaltyMaltyMoI crashed twice when it first came out, but nothing since. I save a lot though while playing so maybe that helps. I do complex simulations at my job so I’m used to saving every 5-10 minutes in case a crash occurs. I noticed both crashes did happen when the internal fan ramped up really fast though.

They are done patching Remastered so it is what it is. Unfinished unfortunately.
