I just played this for my channel last week for the first time. Its such a beautiful game. I barely know anything about it but this video really helped! Thanks for all the hints n tips! Its amazing being able to build a village and then go down into first person and walk around. Having so much fun with this one... still so much to learn.

A year later, now that mods + new dlc are in place, do you find yourself ever returning to Starfield? For all the game's shortcomings, I have fallen in love with ship building even more so than settlement building in Fallout 4. I respectfully disagree on the gunplay, unless there have been improvements unbeknownst to me since you made this video. And the starborn powers seem a little OP compared to the Dragonborn shouts, but hey, it IS Skyrim in space. Look for Fallout 5 (arriving 2050+) to have a similar mechanic, maybe they'll incorporate powers brought on by mutation. Seems like with the addition of ghoulification in 76 and with Cooper Howard on the TV show setting a new standard for ghoulification...

I like to organize my supply routes, Red Rocket is a good hub to branch out to many other settlements. It's also fun to be on the road and see one of your well armed provisioners kicking ass.

If you leave the height increments at their lowest value, and if you keep your road one click above road level, you can make the ramp as long and as gentle as necessary. Then to finish, just do the 12 unit marker to finish. It looks a lot nicer for interchanges

Unrelated question: im starting a recreational YT channel and want to record voice-overs while i play games like cities...using free clipchamp i can record a webcam of me playing that will capture my voice but not the game audio. I have a folder named 80095_14. Paradox says that it was only the _13 folder that was affected but I'm still stressing. I have no experience in cybersecurity so I'm not really sure if I'm good or not. Considering my folder is named _14 and not _13 would that mean I'm safe?

I'm very late getting into this game, but it amazes me that everyone seems fine with spending so much money building something just to knock it down and then replace multiple times with the same thing.

I want people and workers and farmers and black smiths, markets, imagine building the facilities and the A.I. people working on them, I wanted to build a farm with wheat fields and have the A.I. people tend the wheat and harvest it for production and selling them at the stalls in the town centre, that would be so f* in cool!

You don't need to superimpose buildings to hide the merlons, you can just use the color tool and hide them, just like the wood accents. Also, putting a chimney next to a window will transform it into a small iron chimney! Nice video thx!

When they refused to listen to the community and instead listened to their wallets. Get Woke Go Broke. Here is what "WE" as in the community and known modder for steam asked Paradox and CO for in the next game going forward for Cities Skylines. We asked them to remaster the first game. Put in the known mods that shouldve been implemented from the first place as well as the mods that ran the game much smoother. Improve graphics just a bit, nothing huge. Change the way buildings, houses etc looked and keep it on steam for mods accessed. Im sure we all know what happened.

It saddens me to see you so down on Cities and Paradox, but it mirrors my own experiences. City Skylines 1 felt groundbreaking. It had its problems - traffic, but was a lot of fun and gave huge creative freedom to the player. The dlc’s were generally good and added to the game, there was a great community, and I spent almost as much time watching builds as I did trying my own. I think it started with the (and I will be generous here) the miscommunication regarding the remastered version. That left a bad taste in my mouth. The continued farce that has been City Skylines 2 hasn’t helped. A broken base game that needed mods for problems almost a decade old, the passive aggressive developers responses, the complete no show on console. Now this latest shambles and pithy response. A lot of the problems seems to me to be about bad communication, in addition to that it seems clear that protecting the brand and making money is way ahead of customer satisfaction and delivering a good game in the developers priority lists. I think I’m at the point now where I will just stick to CS1. I’m not even excited about when/if CS2 comes to console anymore.

I downloaded the French Pack on the 28th and I had the Traffic Mod already downloaded. However, after downloading I couldn’t load a city as a message kept appearing saying there was an issue with compatibility with an installed mod. Looking at the list of mods I could see it was the traffic mod so I just uninstalled the mod there and then, and then my city loaded fine and I’ve been playing it. So as I never actually got to load a city with the mod, does that mean possibly my laptop is okay? I checked the file location and I don’t have the mod folder there at all and I also ran the windows defender full scan and nothing was picked up. Do you think therefore I might have missed this issue? Any advice will be great, thanks in advance

Hey man.. i did the windows defender destroyer thing i scanned my system from top to bottom with avg and windows scanner. I also deinstalled most. Reset my google password en email password Avg and windows says its safe now yet i feel unsafe.. most important passowrds are changes but i have barely any info on my pc luckely..

Is the cheat terminal even available anymore? I had it installed before the next gen update but now it's no longer there. I can't seem to find it to download in the menus either. Searching for this mod brought me to this video so hopefully someone has some info.
