That was fun. The Hall of Mirrors looked like a work out. I remember the old fashioned ones where we would be in hysterics over looking in mirrors that made you very fat/skinny/tall/short 😂. My friend drove his Smart Car over a kerb in a car park - nearly tipping over. Still makes me chuckle

That pizza place is responsible for my love of the South of France, not exaggerating. I would sign up for my fabric trade shows in Cannes just to eat there . The pizza was world class. Sorry to say, the pizza is not the same as it used to be, still good but not what it was. I love Cannes and even though we stay in Beaulieu Sur Mer we always take a day to do Cannes. Carlton beach, lunch in the sand and then a walk on the promenade and oysters at Astoux et Brun for dinner. Always we take my daughter on the rides and the silly tourist tram gives you a good tour especially the old town . Cannes Rocks .

@@MeandMonAmi yes it happened about 8 years ago. I took my wife there on our honeymoon bragging it was maybe the best in the world and it wasn’t the same. I think they were bought back then. They switched the dough cheese and sauce perhaps lol, the basil they kept. Still people flock. They had or had the best vegetable soup too unless they killed that.

Hello, another verey interesting vlog and making us all here in UK feel better knowing that it gets wet and cold there too 🚙 ! Watching the first minutes with your Elton looking damp and steamy from the inside I wonder if you are aware of a little tip to leep a car interior dry by filling a sock, or other porous type of small recepticle with cat litter. Cat litter is anhydrous and soaks up all the moisture which you then just leave in a warm place to dry out before using again and you come out to a moisture free interior. Safe travels and 🎄Happy Christmas 🎅 and New Year to both of you and all your chanel contributors.☃

We have eaten in that pizza place after been recommended by a member of staff in the Carlton intercontinental hotel. it was not that good, overpriced and the waiters were not that good either. Now the Carlton is back open again you and mr boo should go and have their amazing breakfast on the terrace . Go early and spend all morning there to get the most out of the bottomless champagne.

I think you’d still incur a fine etc (we have for parking!) but obviously you can’t lose a licence you don’t have (many sans permis drivers have already lost their licenses hence they get a sans permis!)

@@MeandMonAmi I assume your Ami is registered to you personally so if you do something too serious they can arrest you whether you have a license or not. You make a good point that if you lose your license you can simply get back on the road with a quadricycle. I bet that's why the UK won't play that game because in some ways it gives them less control over us if we can just buy a quaddie and still get around regardless of the courts verdict. I live in the UK (a place called Yorkshire) so I am unfamiliar with the french system.

@@AndyBondo No, but this a subsidized vehicle, so I do have to pay for it. I was just pointing out some of the shortfalls not mentioned in the blurb. To be honest this better than most EV's built for getting to the shops, or train and it is quite cheap, bearing in mind if you buy an EV you will need a proper car as well. True they already bought the "car" and are reviewing it, getting the pros and cons out there and my comments are part of that. I have waited 60+ years from hyper-mpg cars to arrive and I know I will never see them. I ride 120mpg scooters in the 2 countries I live and have recently bought a new Royal Enfield Meteor 350, another 120mpg machine and ride them like an old woman as accidents are not an option for me. Like I said Climate change has nothing to do with CO2 levels. To say we have bigger problems is an understatement, but I cant fix them so don't worry. It's nice to have a friendly debate.
