A very nice video! I must have been to Menton 200 times, I still go there quite often and I knew absolutely nothing about this beautiful antique shop! How is that even possible? It is well hidden. But I will find my way next time I go to Menton.

@@MeandMonAmi You got my attention when you got the Citroën. It was such a brilliant idea: to create a car out of quadricycle rules. I feel that drivers should still be taught and licenced and insured as the vehicle can still damage and maim and kill, and by the now the vehicle should have been updated and improved according to reviews by owners such as you, but it’s still a great idea: simple, cheap, personal transportation protected from the weather. But then, your channel is more than the car. You explore the south of France enjoying the sights and tastes that my wife and I keep dreaming about. We can’t be the only people loving this sort of thing.

Proper toboggan!? either it was already a family antique or tims family were loaded, our snow is not french snow in either depth nor quality, plus did the runners ever get waxed tim? ...as a snowboarder I keep my wax puck in my backpackfor winter use, & in summer to sniff for the memories (a scented wax is a must) ..wax = glide, lube ...a life necessity for so many things.

Hey guys, great video as usual. But a word; Tim: please look into the irregularities of driving tests. It's worth a Google. I don't know if it's the same in Monaco, but in France it appears to be a huge scam. I have been a licensed driver (in the USA) for 50 years, 12 years in France, and after having passed "Le Code", in French, after the first try, I have failed the driving test 3 times. The last time, I spoke with a few of the other candidates… some had failed 4 and 5 times. I then did some checking and found a variety of scams, including a kick-back scam between driving schools and "inspecteurs". I am 1500€ poorer and still have no license. Just be cautious. As usual, your videos make my Sunday evenings. Please keep up the good work!

How about following him from a far enough distance so he won't know he is being followed and instead, use your Drone. As well as Recording the Drone footage, watching it Live you will know where he went. That Second Hand Shop looked very interesting.🧸🧸🚙

Hi lads from Spain. I love junk shops but don't have the fortune to be able to pay for all the things I'd like to have. Nice to see some things that we have here in the house. Can't stand paella, it's where they seem to throw all the leftovers and despite having come from somewhere famous for its shellfish, I don't like mussels or any other shellfish. I quite like prawns, though, but not the way the French cook them with loads of grease and garlic.

Jeez tim, that all to brief shot of the motobecane needs its own video, people need to know how mobility in france through to the 1980's was still often small engined simplicity of the 2cv, & the likes of the many puch type moped variants that allowed for basic mobility, the cycles that had motor kits enterprisingly built on as kits, (used to cause a ruccus at youth hostels when it was still deemed as a place you got to via your own steam (no engines allowed) so if hostelling, you had to cycle the final approach via your pedals. So yes please, a special on your own bike from back in the day & low cost mobility serving as a reminder of the basic, utilitarian transport that is also the twizy & ami as well as a few other micro manufacturers would be an interesting video to explore (please)

I don't envy you with having to take the French driving test, luckily the only benefit of Brexit was a deal to honour the UK driving licence of UK immigrants. After some head scratching, internet questions and delays I'm now the proud owner of a Permis de Conduire. . Having said all that I think after driving the Ami for a few years the test shouldn't be that difficult for you.
