This was such a powerful video. Toda raba. Myself in 2015 I discovered that I had a son living in Berlin who was 9 years old and the lesbian mother never told me about. I was rejected and I never had any entry in his life, ofc I many times though of suicide because it was very hurtiful to be rejected by a child. But kept working and helping other people, I keept walking...and what this video show, it was my correct frame of the mind that made me realize how important my life was. that I mattered...Today he is 17, he doesnt not have any affection towards me unless he needs gifts, but I centrered my love in myself and understood that All is full of love..Love is all around us. Whatever problems you are facing...Keep walking..It will get better.

I’m not Jewish, but I’ve always felt such resonance with the Jewish teachings, the beautiful family values, and community values, I am fascinated by Kabbalah and love listening to lessons from the Kabbalah for us humans in todays world. The Jewish people are beautiful and wise and lead quietly and faithfully to any of us (Jewish and not) who look for truth and answers. Thank you for keeping these teachings for life and beyond it, whole and in tact through the ages for us.

Much of my life has been mired in indecision, numbed through escapism. It has affected the one I love most, and not moving soon enough has caused great pain to us both, unfortunately. Knowing there are options for moving forward, and people like yourself whom I can confide in, alleviates that anguish. Thanks for posting, and keep it up the good work, there are many of us still paralyzed because of our own walls we can't see past or can't get over.

Ah, but I think you are Jewish, all you need to do is check out Torah and know the God of Abraham is God, that means we are all Jewish, there is only One, although perhaps many names and cultural, historical interpretations. It's not like you have to get technical about it but even then they have indeed traced us all back to one common ancestry, all species evolved from a single cell. Even more impressive, the geneticists concluded that every person on Earth right now can trace his or her lineage back to a single common female ancestor who lived around 200,000 years ago. We have the science to back it Aria. Make yourself at home!

@@slingshotchicken4695 So: Adam and Eve were Jewish?
@slingshotchicken4695
@slingshotchicken4695 Жыл бұрын
@@josephtein3835 The common female ancestor who lived around 200,000 years ago was probably named Ah Mae but you know how that goes, if you want you can call her Eve, you can call her Gladys, or any name you like to tell your tale. You can call her Jewish to if you want, or you can call her African, you could even say she was a Star Seed. At some point it becomes a story to teach a lesson with and at another point it becomes speculation. One possible lead would be that Anunnaki thing that has an Adam and Eve, Garden of Eden situation where what was sort of prehuman actually became "human". Not sure where that fits in the lineage, ask Enki. The cool thing about that is the same Anunnaki records that mention this Garden of Eden situation also tells the tale of the flood, not sure if the names are quite the same (Noah by any other name is still Noah). I wouldn't get too caught up on name specifics. One thing we can discern some of the so-called myths are rooted in historical truth and the story of the flood is recorded in multiple cultures. Yes, there was a flood. Was there a Garden of Eden? Are we to take everything literally? I think you can get the crux of the biscuit if you just go back to all species evolved from a single cell, you can sort of get the concept from there.

Having said all of that I do think some very specific genealogy was handed down that is accurate, they are basically genealogical records so, in my view 8 The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael. Descendants of Hagar 29 These were their descendants: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, 31 Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael. Examples like this, in my view are valid, I have no reason to think someone would make it up, so the genealogy is valid in my mind. There's a lot more, it is rather cumbersome for many people who would rather cut to the chase and get some wisdom from the Proverbs, but it does let you know they were keeping records. We all know how difficult it is to preserve things and how things may get distorted but it's cool to know who your great, great, great, great grandfather was and even further back, I have no reason to doubt their ability to keep track of the generations.

Gosh, I feel so much relief after watching your video. I had been struggling with a decision -- between doing what I thought was good for me and doing what family members wanted me to do. As you make so clear, the point of this decision moment is not to continue the argument, lol. It's to move forward, preferably in the direction of whatever your "mission" is. Sometimes it's hard to see how a health decision has anything to do with your mission, but it's all one effort, I suppose, and good health outcomes are helpful to good mission outcomes, lol. Thank you, Rabbi. I'm moving to your state soon and hope to come visit your center. I'm so thankful you are in the worrld.

I do all four reactions you talk about. The fifth kicks in, once in awhile, and then I slip back. I'm trying to get unstuck. Dear Joyce, my young daughter also has Borderline PD and I so well understand your challenges. I just wanna send you all my love & encouragement in your "fight for life"! Keep it up, dear, no matter what age you are. I keep holding on to the belief that there is, somewhere, in G_d's purpose & divine providence, a deeper or "higher" reason, why you, my daughter & innumerable others "must" suffer afflictions like that. Do keep it up, maintain hope & courage and no doubt, some day, you or we all may be granted to understand the reason WHY all this suffering. All my love, respect for yr many efforts (often unnoticed & unappreciated by those close to you!) and encouragement to you! Rabbi Simon's video messages are just SO helpful - true blessings! @@marias.6955Thank you for your generous words of encouragement. I greatly appreciate what you have shared. It's been a tough go, to be sure. I sure do understand what your daughter experiences. Not easy. I bet she's a creative, smart girl! May she chanel her talents into soul satisfying endeavours. For me, it's been music, art and writing, with pauses, because BPD does tend to interrupt the process. It's the gettibgvup,getting up,, that's important. I keep getting up. Rabbi Jacobsen is a definite lifeline, for me. Such validation, understanding, and solid guidance is what I need. Again, thank you, and may your daughter have a meaningful life, with many blessings. 🤗🥰💖

@@joycealdrich Dear Joyce, unfortunately my daughter is, even according to her doctors, an extremely difficult, complex & complicated case with multiple diagnoses, the most recent one I learned from her husband just a few hrs ago, as though the multiple physical AND mental issues were not yet enough: young onset dementia. She'll turn 30 this May and used to be extremely creative, radiant, joyful, loving... Now she has 3 small children who are also suffering from the situation, is too ill & unable to work. I cannot tell you what seemingly endless trial we've already been thru. And more to come, now with this new "dragon" of dementia rearing its head. Yes, indeed, Rabbi Simon's video's which I discovered only very recently are such a blessing & lifeline also to me, as I look for hope, encouragement, inner strength & equilibrium, confidence in G_d's providence & guidance, the right (spiritual) perspective on things, etc. I hope & pray that you are able to manage your own situation (more or less) & that you do not have challenges "from all sides" & non-stop the way we do. Never ever give up and keep GETTING up! The struggle is absolutely worth it! I will definitely remember you, Joyce, in my prayers. Blessings & be ever surrounded, strengthened & guided by Light, within & without. All my love to you, dear!

@@marias.6955 Dear Maria, my heart goes out to you, your daughter and family. That is such a heavy burden for her, being so young, with a young family. I pray for strength for all of you. May your daughter have the best treatment, possible, and may the doctors find a way to slow the dementia down. I'm so sorry. I don't know what else to say to give you the comfort you deserve. May HaShem guide you all, and may Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael surround each and every one of you, with G-d, who never slumbers or sleeps, protecting you. 💫💖

~19.00 I don't understand how it is better to transcend the circumstance when conflicted with such people. How it is better not to end their life. Just recognize this: If you try to replace "such people" with any other word after the way you explained in length what it is, you will find there are no easy three letter words. I say agency is the only way for a real beautiful world. Not the one we have today which we only make it livable with considerable imagination

Is this the big difference to other, especially eastern religions? In Buddhism e.g. the ultimate goal is to get into a state of not wanting, just being. The way to get there is by meditation. So this seems to be the exact opposite in jewism. Did I understand it correctly? Thanks a lot for your videos!

Blessed be the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob I am coming along side you in agreement the answer lies deep deep much deeper with in and without in you and out of you we could not comprehend it all He is the Blue print for our lives not by my might nor by my power but by the Holy Spirit of the Lord all things have and is still being made possible today the Focus is not even the Patriarchs of old but understanding who and why each person in the Bible was created for the Lords purposes their destiny and to accomplish the Lords plans in their times called and sent all were Miraculously Supernaturally Encountered then changed over time but first they each like us today were called and sent each had tests and trials to walk to get knowledge and understanding and Wisdom but it was really all about Jesus the Massiah who what why He was the sent one and how He Accomplished and He Overcame and what He Achieved on the cross of calvary for each one of us seeing the Son of God and the Son of man in every one everything and how he moves and how he sees how he hears through the Holy Spirit the same one sent to each one of us He is the witness who testifies about the True Sent One the Sinless One and how the Bible was Inspired and Written about and of Himself it was all about who He was He came to fulfill every prophecy and Destiny through every man woman and child and in the end it was written to show how Great He was and is still always forever and ever after all He is who He said He is I Created it All Privileged Knowledge was given and Inspired by the Holy Spirit Father and the Son that we might all know Him as He truly is was and still I am the Way the Truth and the Life No man Cometh unto the Father except through Himself the Glory is Himself we are nothing without Him and there is still more Yes Amen and Amen

Dear Rabbi, In farsi we have a saying: az to harekat, az man barekat!. Its said from gods perspective, so he is telling the humans: ur responsibility is to move and mine is to bless you. Or simpler said: you move, i will care for u!

Dear Rabbi. Philosophical argument. When I was shown how we got into this situation I was obviously upset. As you say, everyone peers around the corner of the staircase in fear or is oblivious to reality. So one thinks of the whole and the point of reference at which you currently stand. Looking up and down. One realises that the Earth is between the sun and the moon. I am an extended thought, here, of the previous generation to which true life attaches. Like the extending roots of the tree of knowledge burrowing and anchoring into the Earth while the top of the tree still grows above. Obviously the trees leaves fall and nourish the roots. The water falls and and is drawn up by the roots to the new seasons leaves that Basque in the true light. One nuerone in the mind does not always understand its position and purpose. Often this is only made aware when you can be truely objective. Often after physical death. So it is hard to be a small part of the bigger picture. As in battles. The soldiers have no ideas what happened in the battle until the officer tell them what they saw from the hill above the battle. The soul is nuetral in memory at birth because it could not handle the pre knowledge. Yet the souls prescence is crucial to the healing of the mind that is lost in it own thought. So it is knowing how to go forward with God. Hence the journeys with the Ark in the wilderness so that enough connected energy of thought was developed to work again in God rather than the self. To oust those that had acquired knowledge to only live for the self rather than Isreal. Love and peace. Here is to the day we reflect God to each other rather than just the self.
