The price for petrol in Sweden is insane. A full tank for my car cost 110 $ and i have a pretty small car. Great video! I would love to se a video of your Stones and Tom petty vinyl collection in the future.

It's always nice to go to any record store and go search for vinyl records and browse and look around for some good deals and look into a collection of vinyl records and search for some love me some vinyl and records stores Joe

Hi Joe and Antny. great video. I know that when I was 17/18 years old, I would have offered my time sorting that record store for stuff. I would have been there every day after school and on weekends working/sorting and coming away with a lot of stuff. The owner must be one of those folks that buys collections - like when I die someone will buy - and is overwhelmed. Blindman poster is way cool!

That record store looked interesting, but I don't think I would have the patience to go through it all.

Joe, that car wash in Lynbrook has been there since the '70s. My dad use to take me with him when I was a kid. I've even gone through with my own kids. They loved it! And Antny is a cheap bastard. You gotta tip.

Boy have I been there, you drive a little far, your excited to see what you can see and you get there and it’s like a bomb went off in the place. Big pet peeve when the boxes and crates are filled to the brim and you can barely flip through them. Then you find something you like, and it turns out it’s not even on sale yet! I like that happy medium between overly organized, and too much you don’t know where to begin.

TWO EGGS FOR AN OMLETTE? WTF?! But, that is the kind of record store I like digging at. They even had that terrible boot Dig It (which I have).

Didn’t we already see the car wash bit in a previous video? Love the caricatures of you & Antny in the thumbnail! Did someone draw those or was that photoshopped? Very interesting adventure! Thanks!
@MeanMrMayo2 жыл бұрын
I also used the car wash segment as a separate video, yes. The thumbnail is some kind of filter on my android phone.

You’re fortunate to lunch at diners like Vallbrook, Valleystream . . . that’s one of the things I like a lot about the USA . . . the excellent value and meals offered at these eateries!

Although it had some cool things, that's one seedy looking record store. Do you remember the price on that Spaniard In The Works book? I had one years ago, but gave it away. I'd like to get another copy of it.

very hard to sift thru records when they are either, all on the floor...(poor knees and back) or stored with just the spine showing...makes me laugh that sellers dont make it easier for you to browse theyd sell a hell of a whole lot more...record fairs are the same where sellers have records crammed into the cases giving you zero chance to sift through them...retirement looks fun tho.....you need to start doing road trip video going to remote record stores...x

hi joe, fun trip with you and antony! that record store seemed to have a lot of stuff but a little disorganized, though i bet there were some hidden gems among those lps and 45s. sometimes you have to have a lot of time and patience to dig through all that stock. the diner prices were a little high, but the food looked pretty good anyway, hopefully it was worth it. nice video, always enjoy seeing you and antony out and about, thanks for sharing, take care, rob

That Diner burger prices and two egg omelettes…..that is awful. The City Diner that we went too was quite the bargain in comparison. Even breakfast prices are Sky high everywhere. And yes Caitlin now has a segment on the Beatles channel…..just think she was one of Mayo’s Angels back in the day

What is that muck you eat for breakfast? I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Great store, it needs sorting, but could be some gems for diggers if they have the time

So that's where every ragged jacket sleeve and scratched-ass vinyl record goes after it's rejected from Half Price Books, the neighbour's garage sale, & Your Holy Lady of Spirit Church Bazarre. Oh my goodness, glad you didn't go into the "E-bay" room. You might not have come out. I wouldn't call that a warehouse. More like - worn out house. Glad you guys made it out ok. Loved the vid. Take care.

The inside of the record store looked like it was in a basement. If Antony is into people getting their hair done 💇♂️, maybe the barbershop 💈, could’ve been added to the adventure.

That's one of the most horrific "record stores" I've ever seen. "This looks like a good place for a murder." "C'mon, let's get outta here." I'm with you, Antny. P.S. I think the diner still owes you an egg. *Ooo, The Tunnel of Suds!*
