So I’ve watched probably every video that you have created!! Every single one. From the narration to the bad ass drone shots you have been the calm to my chaotic days. Especially recently in this difficult moment of my life. You take me away to peace, quiet and relaxation just by watching. That being said this is probably my favorite video you have created. Seeing the impact you have in your own community and how enamored they are by you makes me feel even much more comfort in who you are as a human. I hope one day to hit the trails with you as I purchased a pretty bad ass rubicon earlier this summer. All thanks to you haha… . A few tweaks to it and you may be following me on the trail. Keep on keeping on! You inspire more than you know. TSTN believer and follower forever

HA! I love going out in extreme weather just for the fun of it and to see who I can help out and pull out of the ditch etc. It's amazing how many people don't know how to handle the snow and ice. Especially in an area like central Alberta where we deal with it every year for 4-5 months. About half the time I can get in their vehicle and drive it out, half of it is throttle manipulation, and not polishing the ice and breaking traction. Good video, getting out and having fun!

Have you considered exploring some of the smaller islands that are still quite massive like Texada, Lasqueti Island, Cortes and the northern ones. They’re quite massive and have a good logging and mining history. Possibly Haidi Gwaii too? You do a pretty good job of showing the province, but that section never gets covered by anyone.
@StarGateSG711 ай бұрын
YES! Also try the logging roads in-between Kingcome and Rivers Inlet! Those back country roads have 20 to 40 km long spurs that even in summer will take some time to traverse and it is TRULY WILD and beautiful backcountry! AND .... also try the backcountry mining and logging roads within a 150 km radius of Sheslay, BC which is in the Northwest corner of British Columbia. All those logging and mining roads roads made from the 1910's onwards are now hidden from overhead satellite view but are still driveable. There are lots of hidden gems of abandoned farms, mines, long-cut and regrown forest blocks with narrow but Jeep traversible roads, old construction camps and more! I estimate, just based upon the very-high-resolution satellite imagery I have done in that area, using SOBEL/CANNY edge-detection work on to find old trails and roads ... I would say that there are probably about 2500 KM of Jeep-capable trails waiting be explored. One thing I DEFINITELY WOULD DO THOUGH is change your wheels over to TWEEL technology (i.e. invented by Michelin in the 1980's/1990's) which are flexible polymer spring-like wheels that have a thick grippy M/T treaded rubber tire band around them as the trail-grip portion. They need NO AIR and cannot be punctured! Those trails are gnarly with lots of rocks and spiky trees which would play havoc with normal aired-down tires so TWEEL (i.e. look that term up on Google and KZbin!) tire technology is best on those deep backcountry trails. Remember to take PLENTY of food and and water supplies with you AND a satellite phone or at least a Starlink Internet terminal with you on such a trip! It will take about three weeks to complete the major spur road portions of that area! V

Couple of hints for the fogged up windows. 1- Use paper towel to dry them then throw it out of the vehicle. You need to remove the moisture from inside the cab. Leaving the towel inside keeps the moisture inside and it compounds die to you getting in wet every time. 2. Shaving cream on the windshield inside helps reduce fogging.
