Thank you so much for your easy to watch Tutorial. I was given so many beautiful pinch please curtains (as new) perfect for our cold British winters. Wondering just how they could be made to slide onto my poles and found your YoubTube channel. Being a visual person this is perfect for me. Many thanks from Cornwall Great Britain 🇬🇧

Thank you for your lovely comment. It is nice to hear that the videos are of use to people. I remember as a child being on an Easter holiday with my parents and sister in Charmouth one year, waking up one morning and there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. Over the next year, I will be prepping to move back to the UK, and the only thing I am not looking forward to is the cold damp weather. I hope your curtains will be perfect for the job and keep the drafts at bay.

Thank you for being the only person on KZbin who seems to understand that a tutorial on installing grommets should include the most important part…measuring! You just saved me from ruining 6 sets of brand new curtains! 😊

Thank you for your comments. I used to teach in person, so I try to think of the questions I would have been asked when making these videos. I am sure I still miss things out on occasion or don't explain it in the right way for some people. I am very pleased your curtains turned out well and wish you good luck in future projects.

Thank you for your comment. I like easy solutions to problems especially when the method works no matter how wide your curtain panels are. Good luck with your project

This does make positioning so much simpler - thank you - but where did you get those tiny grommets? I can only find 40mm and bigger and need something around 30mm. I can find the metal ones but don't want to spend £50 on the closing tool so need plastic ones.

Thank you for the question. I used the interior decorating grommets made by Dritze. I found on the Amazon UK website Dritze Home Decor grommets for £24.46. As I have been out of the UK for a number of years I am a little out of touch with where to buy such things. I hope this is helpful and good luck with your project

Do you have a guide of how many grommets needed per certain width of fabric?
@beinspired1487 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. I would say a set of grommets per drop (width of fabric) would be fine. If you have 1 and a half, divide one packet of grommets between the 2 halves and then measure them out as I have shown in the video to make the placements even. Good luck with your project.

Little too fast.

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry that you find the information a little too fast. We all learn at different speeds. I try to put all the information in at a working pace, as I am doing the project and I don't want to bore everyone with all the "Umms", "Ahhs ", or blank spaces in the recording. When I eventually get another project like this I will record it and hopefully make a better attempt than this one. Good luck with your project and I am sure there are other much better explanations on KZbin
