please dip the electrode of ph meter about 2 days in pH 4 solution or tap water and clean electrode gently with brush. May be work. If no please contact your supplier.

Once done calibration with buffer solution of pH7 then need to switch off the pH meter or can proceed with buffer solution of pH4? Please advise me.

You wont need to calibrate every time if you store it in this solution.

It has glass bulb electrode having very dilute HCl solution inside glass bulb so It is necessary to make ionic environment outside the glass electrode to avoid damage.

How to make 4M KCL solution.. Sir?!?

dry certain amount kcl in oven at 110 0C for about 2-3 hours.Then weight 22.368 gm kcl in analytical balance.Take 100 mL A grade volumetric flask and dissolve it by distilled water, shake.make final volume up to mark of volumetric flask. Shake well. 4M KCl is ready
