"I got a cut on my head...." That's ironic, since Eddie had a cut on his forehead....

I saw him sing his first album at the pinecrest outdoor music venue in connecticut back in 75 when I had just gotten out of the army. I have always felt that his singing voice was really fantastic, and the score and theme were dead on. Thanks Mr Aday ( Meatloaf ), and I cant believe you were born in 47, you look so much younger!

6:50 --- I learned that from stuntman Buddy Joe Hooker in the 80s .. When I had my motorcycle accident, I followed that advice and it probably saved my life.

You have to respect ANYONE that plays Eddie. You have no speaking lines, you literally show up out of nowhere, sing the biggest asskicking song in the whole show, andt then you die.

I'm glad Meatloaf decided he would be in Rocky horror afterall. That was brave considering it must have looked like it might well disgust a lot of people. I mean you have to admit it does look like a career wrecker if you put your mind in the place where it's not known to you if you see what I mean. The Meatloaf song really broke up the feel of things for a minute there until Frank killed him. LoL I love Meatloafs song in it as much as all the others easily and it felt really right to have a proper rock and roll bit briefly in it..... Good on you Meatloaf!

One of those Forrest Gump types, crossed the zeitgeist so many times. I even think of his time on the apprentice. What's amazing is he really is/was one helluva singer. Under-appreciated for his music. Not surprised the set was a danger zone. So many of that era were.
@eternalhalloween18 жыл бұрын
I really liked him in "Mr. Monk and the Voodoo Curse." He was twisted as usual. HOWEVER, this is possibly the one time he is innocent and even helpful and heroic!
@ladyblackstardust3908 жыл бұрын
+eternalhalloween1 - He Played Reverend Hadley Jorgensen in Season 8. Thanks, I didn't recognize him, I'll pull it out on DVD. Tim Curry was also on Monk in Season 2 on "Mr. Monk Goes to Jail". He played a thoroughly evil and disgusting 900 pound Dale "The Whale" Biederbeck.
@eternalhalloween18 жыл бұрын
Oh yes. "Mr. Monk and the Voodoo Curse" was a great episode. I always watch it near Halloween! It was great to see him heroic for once.Tim Curry has done a lot of twisted roles. But I think my favorite was his role as Wadsworth in "Clue." (Heroic in 2 of the 3 endings at least.) :)

The star that is missing on the jacket is already missing and the chain is broken (with no safety pin) when Eddie first bursts into the Lab and says "Wooo" and does a spin as the song is starting. and the jacket's the same in every shot where you can see the back of the jacket thought the whole scene. That star was probably never there when he was given it and the safety pin added after the shooting was done. Curiously Eddie has tons of white power (from bursting through the wall on the bike) all over himself and the jacket and pants though the first half of the scene, then has zero white powder on him from the time he gets on the bike and rides the ramps and then is (Spoiler Alert!) killed by Frank. I know I noticed the continuity error with the lack of white powder at the end of the scene during one of the many many times i've watched this movie before, but this was the first time I really studied scene. Obviously movies are rarely shot in order but this is scene is kind of perplexing how they missed this unless they shot the bike on ramp and killing scenes first, and then went back and did the beginning of the scene afterwards as I can't see the wardrobe people cleaning the jacket for shooting the second half of the scene.
@helgifannar908 жыл бұрын
+Garrick Sissons Dont forget about the fact that the motorcycle is a wheelchair with puffy handles , and when he goes up the ramp the first time a Transvestie accudentally knocks the head of the statue on the top left side of the ramp and in the next shot the head is back !! (how i love seeing new things everytime i watch) and i have seen it over 500 times

If someone hasn't written a biography about Meatloaf...then the world just doesn't make sense. His life is one historical event after another . Godspell...Rocky Horror..at the Kennedy assassination...vocalist for Ted Nugents Free-For-All album.. Not to mention his Bat out of Hell album . The man is a true LEGEND...and that voice. Hell..he is the reason my girlfriend gave up her virginity ( no joke ) LIKE A BAT OUTA HELL !!!!!!!!!!
