Can you share more clearly how you set up the meater and/or heater plus with your iPad to create the ability to view info by wifi please? It sure seems like a cost saving method against the features of the meater block for wifi which is the feature I really want and need. Good info and thank you!

So, to be clear. With the Meater Plus, you can set the desired and measured cook on an iPad (which is connected to your home Wi-Fi) - then take your iPhone down to the market or pub and monitor it all from there?

Sarah, it does via a device like your phone or a tablet. The Meater+ does not have wifi built in, just bluetooth.

If you have the block, are you able to use one of the block probes at a location that is not connected to the wifi? Are you able to use a probe from the block at a remote location and set up a laptop to monitor it?

You can use the Meater Block in standalone mode with no WI-FI.

When we're not in lockdown because of Covid, we're a Big Green Egg cookery school. We have 9 Eggs here, 3 large, 1 XL, 4 MiniMax and a Mini.
