Yeah, likewise - I think the entire concept of a veggie sausage is a bit odd - but all the ones i've had at least tasted nice and had a good texture - the key is they weren't trying to be 'meat' - this horrid thing looks like it's trying to have the texture of hotdog - that's a terrible idea. A good veggie sausage will be pretty good - this is the worst of all possible worlds.

My husband lost his leg in the army in combat. He also was in a wheel chair after. He always made jokes about himself and had a great attitude about it. It never slowed him down. Sadly, he passed away two years ago from cancer. He is greatly missed by everyone that knew him, as he was a jokester and made people laugh. I love the sense of humor you have about life. I’m glad it does not bring you down. I know he would have loved your channel. He was a collector of MREs from around the world. You would be surprised at the stuff you would find in them.

I've been eating their Tender Bits, Linkettes, and Vege-Burger since I was a kid, the best way to prepare them is to put a little oil on a pan and cook em' that way. It's not for everyone but coming from someone who loves meat these are just as good, in fact, I prefer their vegetarian hotdogs over real ones.

I've been a vegetarian for 20+ years, but I was raised in a meat n potatoes family. Those look vile! I eat Morningstar Farms and Gardein brands mostly. To answer your question, vegetarians can eat butter, eggs, cheese, milk. But vegans can't, nothing from any animals.

Vegetarians don't eat meat, but will eat dairy products and eggs because the animal is not harmed in any way for those. Vegans on the other hand, will not eat meat or anything that comes from an animal. They eat only vegetables.

Everytime we grill hot dogs and hamburgers I always just eat a plain dog. No bun or condiments. Honestly grilled is the only one I like dogs. I'm surprised someone hasn't made square shaped dogs so they don't roll off the grill lol.

Loma Linda is an old company that has made Vegetarian/Kosher foods, mainly for the Seventh Day Adventists, {SDA} My home town had a large population of SDA followers, a huge SDA Acadamey for boys and girls K-12. There was a Loma Linda Food factory, also. The local A@W Root Beer stand was only open in the summer time. They served these "Hot dogs" Chicken Cutlets and meatless patties all out of cans. My Grandmother served us these hotdogs, we didn't like them, but in the 1960's we ate what we were served.

Loma Linda’s meals are the best when they don’t try to imitate meat. Things like their “Greek bowls” and “Hawaiian bowls” are delicious. And most vegetarians do eat butter & other dairy products. It’s mainly vegans who avoid dairy products.

I grew up attending a Seventh-Day Adventist church where vegetarianism is a way of life. Every year they had a summer youth camp held at Valley Vista and that was my first experience with Veja-Links hot dogs. Don't let the interior view dissuade you...these things are absolutely delicious! Loma Linda has several fake meat products that taste like something discarded from their hospital but but Veja-Links are pretty awesome for what they are. To get the absolute best flavor experience, try roasting them over a camp fire. Trust me, if you can get kids to eat them and ENJOY them then adults should be pleased as well.

I'm Seventh-day Adventist, and I grew up on Loma Linda products. A lot of which I love, and some not so much. But the hot dog links you should have cooked in the broth. It makes it taste better and less dry. Too, try the larger hot dogs that are sold. They are better tasting. And put just mayo, relish and catchup on them. The best way to eat them, honey. The only hang up that I do have is the sodium level in a lot of their food. So eat their products in moderation. God Bless! 😊

It's nice to see someone give meatless products a respectable chance. You didn't bash it or joke about it before trying it any more than other things you've tried. I'm not vegan or vegetarian at all, but it was still just refreshing to see in a sea of mocking videos.

That's because they secretly crave it, but torture themselves by not giving into their cravings. They vent this frustration by being complete asses dictating that no one else should eat meat so they are just as miserable.

I think most people dislike vegans because they are jealous that they can't have that kind of self discipline. I've never met a vegan in real life who "shoved it in my face" and I doubt you have either.
