Agree w some below--Plarium is a FOR PROFIT company and I understand it but to keep throwing things into the pot like the new shields, just when we were maxed out, makes us BLEED MONEY without certainty that they wont do something similar again once weve bought the shields.

very welcomed. please do the same for weapons. I'm stuck. 2/3 weapons don't work, half the widely used ones like em, rails, ember (5 shots to kill 1 mech last night), or helix, or any of the early neglected ones. the ones i feel comfortable with right now are the minigun and storm rack. i want to get overdrive. i think they screwed up. i think they overdid it with the shields. this is a broken game now. very imbalanced.

i believe youre wrong, but i also believe you misunderstand the process of linear ranking. Lots of people get the wrong idea when someone ranks items linearly.. let me give you an example: Surge, Nomad, and Eclipse are all really good mechs. S Tier. however, they all counter each other in a somewhat rock-paper-scissors fashion (Eclipse beats Surge, Surge beats Nomad, Nomad beats Eclipse. not always, but generally). so when i place Eclipse below Surge, that doesnt mean i think Surge will beat Eclipse, it just means that the general usefulness of Eclipse is lower than Surge, because Surge can counter MORE things (or counter them more effectively) than Eclipse can. Linear ranking doesnt mean linear performance. Competitive squads do best when they have some hangar variation, so anything in S Tier is worthy of competitive play, some are just more versatile and thus more players use them (like Surge/Nomad).

Good to know that my Hanger is growing in the right direction. I agree with your choices. My only issue is with Vortex. He does a lot of damage quickly, but draws a lot of attention at the same time and often gets destroyed quickly. Of course, maybe I'm just too aggressive with it.

thats kinda normal tbh. Vortex is an aggressor tank, it wont always survive long but it can survive for long enough in important situations, being very fast and not relying on a shield. Key difference between Vortex and other tanks is that Vortex doesnt have "disposable HP" (any type of regenerative survivability), so it just slowly gets chipped away. if you want a defensive tank you should use Aegis

Bro, Solid advice, and pretty solid lists... But you hurt my feelings wit Təngu FOR SURE! Even tho you probably aren't wrong.. (Sure do wish the devs would PLEASEEEE consider bumpin up his energy cap to 24 and fix his ability so it works as described.. he's supposed to be "immune to e.m.p. while airborne" right??? I don't remember this ever working...) But.... he does the best super hero entrance of all the mechs! You still do a good job ranking his value near the top, so it works.. Stalker is another, I think, that could've move up a spot on the list. But not much.. Glad u put seeker where he belonged at the butt of the tier, AND described (very correctly!) the WHY behind the mods boosting surge over nomad again! That is very useful and accurate info for sure!! Rědèémer is the other one you were right about that hurts my heart and soul.. I have loved that mech! ALMOST as much as I love my Ṭeňgụ, since the day that I got it, but they have messed his ability up now😭 (2nd time now.. if y'all remember when they added the delay to "fix" his backtrack ability..🤔😔) now his backtrack ability doesn't work again.. but now its when he is stunned with E.M.P. part of his ability is sneakily being removed? Or just isn't working as described and hasn't been!?!? Which was LITERALLY 'Deem's entire point and purpose for existance!!! (He came out a while back, when all the zephyrs had full EMPs instead of their nerfed down 3 second ones, and they were constantly ganging up and ruining pretty much every everything for everybody...) Now when my maxed redeemer is stunned (and I should be able to pop my ability and track-back) the ability button becomes un-useable until the duration of the emp wears off... they need to fix this one a.s.a.p. Hey ruffles can u try my dream hangar 1• Aegis with quantum guns (reason bcz when u use some shield and ur gun is reloading So it is a nice defend though) 2• Solis with pod guns (reason if u use his ability the enemy can't attack and u can shoot him) 3• Surge with fragment gun or arc torrents (reason if u hit with ability u can kill him) 4• Onyx with rail gun (reason if u use his ability it deals lot of damage and the gun may be realoded by that time) 5• Bastion with Storm rack (reason cause if ur reloading u can use ur sheild and escape) 5:36

I will humbly disagree with brickhouse and gatechasher, although he is quite nich in his role, brickhouse can be heavily useful for mortars and guided exploiting with barrage being still useful. Gatecrasher is a control mech, you use his pulse and beam to control choke points and his hp makes him a powerhouse with 16 miniguns.

Firing left then right helix and then third missle follow up is great. And---put EM 16s on it and you have a third followup to stun a little between Em RELOADING.

Disagree on Blockhorn. that mech is great, especially with mods. The shield imo is better than Panthers in that it drops in front of you, boosts damage and stops charging mechs and emp attacks. So it is a great counter to Bastion, Surge, and Nomad. Add in that it can use twin 16 weapons and you have a ton of firepower in an extremely sturdy mech. The only advantage Panthers shield has is that it is not destructible and Blockhorns is, but it does take al ot of damage before it dies. Imo Blockhorn ranks up there with Bastion and Aegis tank wise.

everyone's lists will vary slightly (and youre free to make your own), tho i own a max Blockhorn and have fought max Blockhorns, and my personal experience with that is the reason i ranked it where i did, so i wouldnt change my placement.

its worth noting that just bc a mech is in a lower Tier, doesnt mean i think its bad. the only ones i think are specifically bad are the ones i say not to bother buying, which are all in F Tier. The rest are useful and worth getting (if they suit your needs), so i arranged them based on how much you should realistically invest in them (obviously not every mech is worth ranking up, even if you do buy it). Just wanted to share my reasoning. but ofc, Tier Lists are inherently subjective and youre free to disagree.

I disagree strongly. This is only valid for late game and post gear hub update players. The ranks are very different for mid game players and for players who have older mechs that perform better than new ones.

as i explained to another commenter: if i treat p2w items as bad due to low accessibility, then the players who do spend will (if they use my list as a reference, which lots of players do) make terrible purchases. i could and probably will make a separate list geared solely toward f2p mechs, based on how they perform with f2p weapons, but it would be entirely disingenuous of me to rank *all mechs* based on f2p availability, and i wouldnt recommend anyone do that

i have personally used every one of these mechs a hundred times (at least), with the exception of Panther/Puma/Slingshot/Killshot. I can guarantee there are way better mechs than Gatecrasher and Eclipse.

List is about as broken as the game 😂 this definitely isn't a f2p list nor beginner or mid game. Considering you don't have orion in S tier is almost laughable considering how strong his ability is against the mods; it even makes sniper weapons relevant when using him. Storm rack 12s while tagged and the mech is dead (even with maxed out mods). No other mech with the weapons available right now can 'one-shot' kill a mech like orion can...

it was never a f2p list lol. and it assumed that everything that costs $ was for acoins (which eventually will be the case), so that future players can reference it, and so current players can make wiser purchases.

@RuFFlesGaming you made a generalized introduction implying this list is for everyone, which it clearly isn't. 90% of the players in the game (including a mass majority of your subscribers) will progress nowhere and will be stuck on 2 or 3 star mechs if they follow this 'list' since the current meta is stuck behind a paywall. You also can't say it's for future use since the meta changes more frequently than people change their underwear 😅

if i made the assumption that everything paid-only was bad due to inaccessibility, it would cause players to make stupid purchases/upgrade choices. lots of players use these lists for reference of what is worth buying/upgrading, so ranking paid items low just bc theyre paid, would stand no possibility of helping anyone (possibly it would "appease" some f2p players, but it wouldnt help them. they can choose to ignore anything thats paid and focus on the f2p stuff), but it would stand great possibility of hurting players. i could make a f2p list (with only f2p mechs, based on their performance with f2p weapons), which i might do, but if i include every mech then i have to treat them all as if they were for in-game currencies (for the reason provided).

Paragon isnt worth ranking up, you get access to Guardian almost immediately. sure Paragon has some theoretical value with Helix 16s or smth, but you can deal more dmg with Helix 12s on a Stalker so theres kinda no point
