Revocar is crazy. It can destroy Nomad or even tank mechs in an instant during their ability duration. It easily breaks through MODs, and the return shots getting a backstab bonus is way too strong. I want them to nerf it, but I feel like it’s gonna stay OP no matter what they do...

Overdriver sounds better than Minigun, but it just doesnt seem to hold up. dmg buildup + a rather small mag i think is the reason

@@RuFFlesGaming it recharges very quickly, plus you can take short pauses (1,2,3 seconds here and there) to cool it down before a burnout (all 3 legend implants are recommended). Again, as with any sustained weapon, I'd always use some kind of shield. As I think you (maybe scape?) said somewhere, the minifun (lol) has an advantage in closer encounters, but at longer distances, I think the overdriver does. With the game being transitioned more toward sustained weapons, I think this is a great choice, especially with the DMG implant the pass just gave us.

I don’t think graviton beam is affected by mods, because it’s implosion effect break through the mod, and I don’t think we count any base dmg of graviton beam.

the implosion should (last i checked) deal damage to shields first, then galvanic, then the enemy HP. the physical beam dmg is rather negligible

agreed, the consistent damage at a high range is really usefull. i melt through mechs with or without mods in about 2-3 seconds depending on health. i personally would put it in A or B. Otherwise, good job with the tier list and intro names :)

Crazy because I am pretty much a newer player, only at level 5 for mechs/weapons and not even close to maxing them out maybe at about level 5 as well. My best mechs/weapons are: Ares w/ Ember gun, Arachnos w/ Long Arms, & Zephyr w/ Helix Racks. And I often get top 3 mvps, alot of times #1. I'm in Division 3, almost to 2.(6895 ranking points) I do have to say I got myself in a huge slump for a couple of weeks after changing my weapons around and trying out new ones. I got down all the way to division 10 and had a hard time getting out of it. Revuous to that i got all the way up to Division 1. Only after a couple weeks i realized it was probably how I had them set up, and once I changed it back around, I got myself back up to top of 3 and climbing. So that is just nonsense to say that there is a clear best kind of whatever. You just have to learn how to use their vulnerabilities to your advantages. Depending on what you have going. I just can't see how you cant get MVP's. This video is a useful tool to plan your approach and strategies. To spare you from having to waste time and losses trying the stuff out and having to learn through experience. Which is good, but not really.

I can and have gotten MVPs with anything and everything, thats not the question; the question is how reliably/consistently weapons do the things you need them to do. The thing to remember is that im speaking in the context of late-game (maxed stuff). Things like Longarms are kinda OP in early game, but do practically nothing against max enemies.

Revoker is bugged (it does an extra tick of back damage), so it will be ranked lower after its patched. Same for Disruptors, they don't deal side or back damage, this will be patched as well

one thing to consider is who has what among the players you team up with. So helix is good at really high levels, but it's weak midgame, and they become a huge target for camper haters. Missle racks are weak early game, and the reload is a problem - deserts racks are stronger, but without the legendary implant, the reload is also a problem. Fuse mortar is powerful high level but useless in so many boards. Either way, Ruffles is at the highest levels, and knows his stuff, so the list is good, but these are things to know. Like mini guns are pretty great early mid game, but late midgame they are weak (I guess they are good again maxed out), but they will annoy your teammates with all that racket if you use them every match or have multiple mechs with them - vipers are quieter and you get more distance - so depending on what board, they could be switched.

I feel voltaig rpg deserves better at least the way i use it. Fire it at the ground behind the enemy and see what kind of damage it does and it's good for getting those players that like to hide behind walls, just aim at their feet next to them. I use duel vrpg 14 and 16 in duel mode

What makes fuse mortars so good? I hardly ever see them in mid-game. And disruptors should be A tier- they are amazing with path radius damage and shield by-pass.

Fuse is mostly good in pvp matches (same way regular mortars were). my team found a lot of use for it in the ongoing Anniversary Tournament, tho id still consider it a "substitute meta," as its not really a necessity

My reaction to some of the weapons: Changun: How DARE you! #ChangunBetterThanMimigun 2 balls in your face!: I have dual Disrupters 12 on my A-Tier mech. It's pretty good, it's mainly the ML shields that can sometimes be annoying. EM and Railgun: I do think that in terms of fighting players and reacting to something, Railgun does do it better. In terms of DMG and overall DPS, EM Rifle does better. Autocannon: nahhh Autocannon is S-Tier, it's stupidly OP! Pizza: I agree, pizza is S-Tier!

Quantum gun is a hybrid weapon, as soon as overheat buff is fixed for most weapons its a very good dominant weapon with the new implants system

what about overheat is bugged? also, hybrids like that are largely inconvenient. they only work well if you use it on a mech with less than 24 energy (since overheat is 1.5x, and the most you can get from another weapon is 16e, hybrids cannot effectively simulate more than 24e). pilots wont increase the Quantum dmg anymore, and youll be wasting an implant slot on your pilot just to make the buildup decent. seems like a completely roundabout way to achieve what basically any pair of 12s can achieve

is quantum gun hard to use on phone/tablet? looks like a sniper which is obviously only good on PC since there is no aim-assist on snipers for android users. I just can't hit reliably with EM rifle at all without a mouse!

7:08 just me or vipers would be better off if the rocket was every 4th shot and half the damage? it would still be a big burst of damage, but feel less like a pseudo burst weapon

depends. more burst is technically better, but spreading them out makes it less detrimental to miss
