Mecha Break Preview (Beta) | Mech Action Goes Hard

Speaking as someone that almost exclusively plays singeplayer and co-op nowadays, I love that Mecha Break seems to be getting a lot of positive response. I don't mind that the game has a competitive/PvP focus since we need more mecha games in general, and it's nice for mecha fans to have options whether they prefer SP, Co-op MP, or competitive MP. I'd love to see PvE/Co-op in Mecha Break down the line but they should of course focus on building a solid PvP balance and playerbase first. Hell, even if I dont really like PvP games that much, Mecha Break is really fun to just watch too, so I think it may have potential for an esports scene as well.

in the closed beta, the battle royale mode have some PvE where you have to kill bunch of npc to get gears, it also have a boss which have 2 phases

you can play it now. starting 10 they became open beta until 13. 1-9 is twitch drop only

Can't believe another great looking mecha game is single player only😢 From Software didn't made AC6 coop, didn't bring any of the old AC games to current gen, and mechabreak is also SP. Synduality or something like that, is my only hope for a current gen mech coop.

Dunno if you guys typically review games like this that aren't co-op PVE but rather PVP playable with friends but I dug it. This looks cool. Wonder if I can convince my buddy to try it

Thanks for saying that! Yeah it’s something we’re think about lately, we’ll definitely consider doing more content on these kinds of games. But yeah Mecha Break is sick, very excited to play more

You might want to check out the Seamless Coop mod for Armored Core 6. Same modder as the Elden Ring one. Could scratch that mecha coop itch!

To model you pilot after Asuka but your mech after Shinji's doesn't make sense. If you like Shinji's mech why not make the pilot shinji as well? Do shut in guys really need a busty girl avatar that badly? I seriously don't get it.

I think you're assuming too much, you know what they say about assuming things ;) It was just one example, that wasn't the only mech or pilot look I had.
