Great video, also thank you D18 for making this project possible, it has been my dream to share to everyone how awesome Demonbane Mythos is, but I don’t know how to make a video, luckily I have met the best person for this project. Overall, words can’t say enough how much I appreciated his effort of editing and even invited other people for narration. His Mecha Talk playlist are the main inspiration for me to make this video, so please check out them. I recommended the videos of Ideon, Getter Robo, Mazinger and Gurren Lagann. I also want to express my gratitude to RevoSKL (even though we’ve never met) and Aaron Kaiser, their narrating voice is amazing and perfectly fitted for this video. The illustrations of Al Azif and Etheldreda in 15:08 was used in the Rumbling Angel TCG. This TCG had crossovers with several other franchises, such as Muv-Luv. I know that TANIMESO and BOTICON did some artwork for it. TANIMESO in particular even published some of them on his Twitter.

Demonbane is kinda technically the only mech with uber conceptual weapons, not counting eva units and rahxephon because they're technically not mecha....😅 Shining Trapezohedron basically deletes enemies from existence... no way to defend other than using another ST to counter which resulted in FUBAR SPOILER SITUATION.

Interesting. Demonbane, specifically Elder God Demonbane, is the only Mech I see people compare to Tengen Toppa besides Getter Emperor. I've seen people get into especially heated arguments about who's more powerful and has more hax between Elder God Demonbane and Super Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagann.

Then create a Big Bang to recreate all universes so everyone and everything will live happily ever after. There’d be no more suffering, despair, unnecessary deaths, corruption, pandering, greed, slavery, or discrimination. Does that mean that amongst all the Mecha you’ve discussed so far, Demonbane is the most powerful? Even more powerful than Getter Emperor and Mazinger Zero? I mean Mazinger Zero is a multiversal threat, and Getter Emperor can absorb anything and everything, so it might rival Lilith from Evangelion, Unicron from Transformers, Galactus from the Marvel comics, and Hellstar Remina from Junji Ito’s manga of the same name.

Aside from this just being a great listen. Is there really a point to compare these universe scale super robots? They function more as plot devices, and they most likely would never come into conflict with eachother, even if they ran into one another when traveling the multiverse. Demonbane is the ultimate champion of justice and righteousness. The Getter Emperor is not so much evil as it is as much an elder god, it's only goal is to grow and evolve, let's not even touch on the fact that it is just a manifestation of Getter rays, not their whole. Gurren lagann will always at least match whatever is thrown at it due to the nature of spiral energy. And Mazinger Zero wanted to rewrite existence so it was the only popular robot to ever be. But it was still just a reflection of Kouji. Honestly, they fit more as forces of nature with their own domains.

You bring an interesting point, because in my opinion, they kind of are meant to be almost more conceptual than the usual super robots made of fantasy special alloys or powered by special energy. I can easily see any of these beat the others simply because who writes the story decides it, so it makes little sense to really compare them.

One of the actual guys that legitimately has more than a shot. They actually fought in one of the SRW mobile games, with demonbane winning against a restricted zero that was struggling with Kouji for control, and even then it ate two Shining trapezohedron attacks before being able to be sealed.

Considering the fact that Demonbane uses the Cthulhu Mythos in an almost 1:1, yep. Lemuria Impact was actually used to suppress Mazinger ZERO in Super Robot Wars. Then you get into further things like DEAD END/Vortex Blaster Demonbane and 'Elder God' Demonbane and the Athleta Aeternum which then gets into some ridiculous stuff.

Gurren doesn't actually pass the stronger mecha franchises like Aquarion, Mazinger and Demonbane. The latter is just the easiest to use because it's sheer power stands up to Cthulhu Mythos.

To answer your question, from what I gathered, I'd say either Demonbane or Mazinger Zero, given that technically both defeated each other in a piece of media at least once (zero erasing all the demonbane timelines in his manga and demonbane suppressing zero with the help of Kouji in srw).

The problem with Demonbane being brought up with mecha power level discussions is that it fails the rule of cool. Hotblooded awesomeness transcends anything. You can be facing against all the eldritch-tier mecha while riding a literal cardboard robo, but as long as you're pushing forward and your OP theme is playing in the background, you're gonna be the one winning that fight. We never got this for Demonbane. If anything, the more popular version of it is a toned down PS2 port of the original eroge. The biggest irony of it all is that on paper, nothing should be more hotbloodedly cool than cthulhu mecha hentai.

The Magic System literally uses fighting spirit and determination to power up. Hell, the MC almost kills Therion in their first fight because he just released pure rage and magic power directed at him. Also, it's pretty funny that you said 'facing against all the eldritch-tier mecha while riding a literal cardboard robo' because that's almost exactly what happened in the most recent book.
