silicone stops oxidation of the rubber, so it will stay springy for longer. its simple and easy if you care enough about your car. also it takes paper thin coat so don't flood it, no point.

Do I do this? Why of course! (OK, I don't. Well sorta. I've a 1970 Corvette. On that one, I never miss. And not b because I'm smart. Another Corvette owner told me. Probably it was you. On my Honda? Not quite often as I should. You're exactly right about it lasting longer, but again, not because I thought of it. Thank you for the reminder, or as I probably forgot about it. The Corvette iv had since 1979. I've only changed out the tires twice with less than 500 miles per 3 sets. But the Honda should never have been ignored. Thank you. Looking to subscribe.
