Such a most beautiful story❤. My father,Douglas Monie Burns could have been James.. My dad was the kindest most generous man..He had his car repair and used car buisness for many years... He was so very honest and helped so many for free.... My heart swells with such love, pride and awe for my dad... I always say how lucky I am to have had such down to earth, honest ,kind parents...What treasures from GOD my parents were...They had a phenomenal very good moral compass that they passed down to my little sister, brother and me.. God bless my parents and all those like them ..🙏❤✝️

This reminds me of me. I had a small repair shop in Utah and did do a lot to help people at times. Then there are the ones that no matter what you did for them was not enough. One customer called me every name in the book because I would not warranty a used part they bought from a salvage yard. Also I was helping them by only charging for the part, no labor of 2 hours. Anyway I told them to take their car and leave. The bill was only $120.00 and lesson learned. There are others who I carried the ticket to make payments and never seen them again but I still helped people. I have since retired and hope I made a difference to some...

Great story. Monetary rewards stay on Earth but good deeds travel with your soul.

In 1970, the Monday before Thanksgiving, my grandfather died. My father had driven 3 hours to work where he would live for the week and then come home for the weekend. This time, it was a sad drive to go home to his mother without his dad. As he headed down the highway, he spotted a car with a flat tire. Inside was a mom with 3 young children. My father stopped and changed the tire. He knew it would make him late, but the few minutes to change the tire wouldn't bring back his dad. It would mean that this unknown family would be safely on the road to go home. It's been more than 50 years since that story took place, but it still makes me proud of my dad.

Good story. It may become true in America but not in Sweden where I live. I tried for 40 years, and poeple are egoistic, there is no mercy, even when you are on the bottom, People kill themselves for less than I have gone through.
