What happens when low end of the cable is held down with a weight and the angle is a certain value alpha?

Hello, if we have cable between surface of water and the seabed, will this equation To = CW can be applied? I thank you for this general cases of cables, but It seems so difficult to find cases in submerged cable. Because if i use your equation, C=0, and To=0, and I think this is not true... Can somebody help me please !

Wait, How cosh^2(X/C) - sinh^2(X/C) =1??? I only knew cos^2 (x) + sin^2 (x) =1
